I don’t typically leave reviews but after being yelled at by an employee I felt somewhat compelled. I have only been to this deli twice but on both occasions experienced poor customer service. I came in both times for lunch and having to take a zoom call while I ate. The first time was not very busy and after placing the order was asked if I would be eating there. I confirmed and let them know I planned to eat outside where there are tables and chairs setup. I was told to go take a seat and they would bring the food out once ready. After my 30 minute zoom call ended and I still had not received my food I went back inside. I was told they couldn’t find me even though I had told them exactly where I would be sitting and was clearly visible through the store front. Not a huge deal but definitely annoying. So I decided to go back today and after I placed the order it became quite busy. I decided to wait inside this time and once my food was ready a family had taken seats around the 3 small tables available outside. I really just needed to take the zoom call so rather than troubling them for one of the tables, I grabbed an extra chair and stool moving it away from the group by approximately 10 feet to give everyone some space. After my call I got up to leave with my laptop, 2 cell phones, a bottle of soda, and the bag with my sandwich all in hand. As I was walking towards my car in the parking lot an older man came after me. With an attitude, he asked if I had moved the chair. I was completely taken aback not sure why I was being questioned. I said excuse me and once again in a harsh tone asked if I had moved the chair. I don’t recall is what I told him as I was standing there with my hands completely full. Don’t worry I’ll take care of it he barked back. Unbelievable that someone who works in the service industry would give a customer a hard time like that. There are plenty of other delis that will appreciate my business more so I will certainly not...

Read moreFirst off, I’ve ordered Taylor ham, egg and cheese on a bagel with the TH “well done” or “crispy” many times at many places in NJ. THIS was the first place to really get it right! I may order double egg next time, though. Not sure if I just got a small-ish egg. One question I’m so used to hearing but didn’t this time - “salt, pepper, ketchup?” I’m assuming they have those options.
I love that they had the French toast bagels sitting on the counter wrapped separately. I like the Egg Everything option as well. I didn’t see any Asiago bagels, or honey oat/multigrain. However, there was a large selection. All looked cooked well - not burnt. There were also “mini” bagels and “flagels.” The mini size reminded me of the bagged bagels you find in a grocery store.
The store was very clean and bright. Nice for the middle of a strip mall. Limited indoor and outdoor seating. Restrooms. I love the jersey plates labeling the bagels and the coffee.
The sandwich menu - extensive and creative! Wish it had been lunch time. I’ll be back to try a sandwich sometime. The coffee was self serve (which I love) and there were oat and almond milk options. Service was pleasant and quick.
I plan...
