I am editing my positive 5 star review previously... Came 1st time 6 mos. Order the same pizza every time cooked same way. Just 2 weeks ago complimenting the cooks on the consistency of the pizza especially the supreme. It takes know how to get it correct. And, since Gusippees (and I posted them with photos) can NEVER EVER make a good pizza ! I was THRILLED.at BACI. ..NOT NOW..IM SO VERY DISAPPOINTED AND THEY CARED NOTHING..As if they ruined the pizza on purpose because I asked for a 3 minute longer in the proper over which is brick oven..NOT WOOD FIRE!!!! They did not understand, it appears, wood fire would release all the moisture from the toppings ( veggies) and wet the pizza all the way through to a SOAKED WET SOGGY BOTTOM especially 4 to 5 inches from middle back. 2 times they supposedly made a new one after they destroyed the first one. The second one came out WORSE!!! AGAIN A BRICK OVEN PIZZA STRICTLY..THEY PUT IN WOOD FIRE OVEN...NO..NO..NO.. SO either they did not make a NEW one and tried to pass the first one as new.. I mean 3 times they made this pizza perfect before ! Suddenly YOU FORGET HOW..NO..YOU GOT MAD OR ATTITUDE APPARENTLY BECAUSE A CUSTOMER ASKED FOR A SIMPLE 3 MINUTE LONGER IN THE BRICK OVEN FLAT HOT BOTYOM DRYER HEAT OVEN WHICH IS HOW A VEGGIE LOADED PIZZA MUST BE MADE TO COME OUT CRISPY..CRISP BOTTOM..GOLDEN NICELY COOKED TOPPINGS.... YOU TOOK IT OUT BEFORE THE CHEESE HAD MELTED AND VEGGIES STILL RAW AND MEATS NOT EVEN HOT....which is WHY I ASKED YOU TO PUT IT BACK IN BRICK OVEN A FEW MORE MINUTES. NOT THE WOOD FIRE !!!!! BOTH PIZZAS WERE SO WET AND SOGGY WHEN I PICKED UP THE SLICE THE PIZZA SLICE DROOPED DOWN LIKE A WET DIAPER AND ALL THE ENTIRE TOPPINGS SLIDE RIGHT OFF LIKE ...DISGUSTING...EVEN THE SAUCE.... MAY HAVE WELL AS TO HAVE RUN IT UNDER THE FAUCET. THEY WERE LOOKING ALSO BOTH OF THE COOKS..THE SERVER AND COOKS WATCHED LIKE. " OH THIS WILL BE FUNNY " AND SAW THE ENTIRE SLICE OF PIZZA HANGING WET AND LIMP AND TOPPINGS SLID OFF INTO A PILE THAT LOOKED LIKE VOMIT... 𤢠WHAT WAS THE REACTION TO A REGULAR CUSTOMER... " OOPS" YOU MADE NO EFFORT TO CORRECT THE ISSUE. IT WAS A VERY SIMPLE AND REASONABLE REQUEST TO HEAT IT PROPERLY BUT INSTEAD..YOU RUINED A TRIP THERE..WASTED OUR TIME AND AFTER HAVING COMPLIMENTED THE WEEK BEFORE THAT GARBAGE YOU SENT OUT WAS YOUR RESPONSE TO A SIMPLE REQUEST. YOU SHOULD...

Anyway, we drive by the place several times a week since it opened and always said to ourselves, "we should try them sometime". So Wednesday night we did and I'm happy to say we have a new favorite pizza place. Admittedly from the outside it looks kind of plain, but once you enter you'll be pleasantly surprised. It's decorated very nice and has an inviting aura to it. The wood fire oven is visible when you enter and some of the aromas form the fresh food is very evident. We were offered to sit where we pleased, I like that! Our waitress Barbara was very nice and knew the menu so well that we thought she wrote it. I like that too! Within the first minute she informed us of the children's menu and offered our 8 yr old daughter something to drink. Service was quick and friendly. We opted for the salad and pizza selections. The strawberry salad my wife ordered was great. More than enough for all 3 of us and my daughter asked for more! She liked that! We ordered 2 pizzas as we wanted to try one from the wood fired oven and one traditional. We knew our daughter would crinkle her nose at the goat cheese, olive and basil Caprezi, so we also ordered a traditional Grandmas with pepperoni and pineapple. We couldn't finish them all but man were they delicious. As we sat there and ate I witnessed several families enter and receive the welcome back greetings. I looked around the restaurant and watched the staff interact with each other and customers and could tell they were striving for success. This is just the kind of place I'll return to again for a pleasant meal in a nice environment. And as we were told before we left, "No body leaves without a Baci". Go and see...
Read moreWe went to Baci Pizzeria and Restaurant for the first time last night. After checking out the outdoor area, the friendly bartender treated us to some trivia and warned us about the no-seeums. Since it was raining, we decided to sit inside. It is a casual restaurant. The interior is eclectic, with black-and-white photos of Italian mobsters and celebrities decorating the walls, plus a small shrine to the founder at one end of the bar. We sat at the bar and played some cribbage.
Our bartender, Caitlyn, was personable, professional, and courteous. We ordered a bottle of Barbera, which was reasonably priced and showed vibrant red-fruit flavors with a touch of spice and smooth tannins and turned out to be a great pairing with our meal.
To start, we had the wood-fired long hot peppers on garlic bread. They were smoky, spicy, and addictive. My wife said weâll need to order them every time we come back. Caitlyn thought weâd been there before because ordering something like this is a pro move.
For the main course, we shared two 12â pizzas (the size that gets cooked in the wood-fired oven). The Carmineâs Favorite had hot soppressata and long hot peppers over fresh mozzarella, basil, garlic, and parmesan, with the sauce layered on top. It was bold, spicy, and full of flavor. The Arugula Prosciutto pizza was lighter but just as delicious, with silky prosciutto di Parma, peppery arugula, and a touch of sweet balsamic reduction over the classic base of sauce, mozzarella, basil, garlic, and parmesan.
A violinist sat in a chair throughout the evening, playing Beatles tunes and Italian classics like a tarantella and the Godfather theme.
Overall, a fantastic evening of food, wine, and music....
