Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in New Tazewell

Placed an order this previous Thursday, the 17th of April at around 8:30 or so. The email said it would only take 41 minutes for the pizza to be delivered. Waited until nearly 9:45 before I even called to check on the pizza because I understand things happen. I was understanding and kind on the phone call and was still met with shortness and rudeness from the man who answered, then after being told that our delivery driver left with a lot of orders about ten minutes prior I was hung up on in the middle of my sentence. When I did finally receive my pizza at 10:30, it was cold. I sent in multiple complaints to upper management and have received absolutely no feedback from them, even after waiting almost a whole week. So, I’m taking to the streets kids. If you want to be treated like an inconvenience for calling, be hung up on, and pay $25 dollars AFTER A TIP for a cold pizza that you don’t even want to eat anymore, then go ahead and order from the Tazewell Tennessee Papa John’s. If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband was on his 30 minute lunch break from work and he placed an order online for just a simple order of plain cheesesticks. When he went in to pick them up, they told him they didn't have them and never got an order. So he showed them the confirmation email that he placed the order and they were already PAID FOR. He also showed her where it came out of his bank account. The girl told him anyone could just walk in here and show them a screenshot of an order...so they refused to make the cheesesticks or give him a refund! So my husband spends his entire lunch break dealing with this. So not only did they refuse to make his cheesesticks or give him a refund,, but they cost him his whole lunch break so he couldn't even go get something else to eat. My husband and I eat at this Papa Johns in Tazewell quite a bit, but have never had this experience before. Absolutely disgusting and ridiculous. They absolutely just lost a regular and loyal customer. I wish I had gotten their names, because everyone working there today (August 20, 2022)...

Unacceptable.For the past few years I have had absolutely no problem ordering delivery from this place until today when the driver refused to do his job...I gave instructions to the driver to call when he arrived and I would meet him atop my driveway which has been redone... Note there is sufficient safe parking available there... so he didnt have to walk down to the door. He had his shift leader call and cancel my order because he said he didnt feel safe parking his New car in a parking spot and delivering to my door. Which wasn't what was instructed anyway. Basically whoever is running things now can't follow web instructions and the Driver is loosing PAPA JOHNS customers because he is too lazy...or just unwilling to do his job. Absolutely NO Excuse for this kind...
