They refused to get a refund. I went back within an hour of purchasing stuff and they said that the manager had already gone home and that there would be no one until the next day. So that’s red flag number one, so the next day we went in and told us we had to bring back the correct debit card that we used to purchase it, so we left and came back for the third time with the correct debit card and they said that they could not do it because it was cat food and eventually talked her into letting us exchange it so we get what we need from the store and then go to check out and she absolutely refused to exchange it for us and would not give us a reason why. She just told us to get out of the store with no explanation. I believe her name is Katie. This was by far the worst experience that we’ve ever had...

There's always trash on the floor, which is never moped. 75% of merchandise is never stocked. 9/10 times there's no worker near a register, you have to walk around and find them-- which could be avoided if they actually kept their Self Checkout station running but I was told personally by 2 worker's that they shut it down early so they can leave sooner, that's if they decide to even get it running for the day. That's a problem. There's a lot of problems here and seemingly every Dollar General in the tri-state area. Perhaps is they wouldn't offer $8.50 an hour and 24 hours a week they could get a staff in there that cared. Blame corporate for these sham Dollar General's. All Greed. Give your workers better pay and give them TIME to complete their work. I don't recommend or support Dollar...

It's usually a good store. But procede with caution if you try to take anything back with a receipt, we always have issues with this & have been cheated before. Today, my grandma took something back with a receipt which she gave to the manager, the manager took the receipt, but then claimed she did not hand her any receipt & only wanted to give her a small fraction of what she paid for it, then rudely snapped at my grandma that she had confused her so bad when suggested she simply may have dropped it. She was very hateful. & it's her word against my grandma's. Look, things are very hard, we don't need to be constantly cheated at every turn by people with mean attitudes on top of it.
