I'm writing this on any platform I can think of. :)
BBH has a lot of nerve to respond to Andrea G.'s comment the way they did.
To state the customer did not give management a chance.... how long does it take for a manager to approach the customers table and say "sorry" or say "this on is on us?" Management did a whole lot of effort in chasing people down the customer rather than giving a complimentary drink, a meal free, a freaking coupon to come back 1/2 price, something! You, Laura are not explaining why management didn't approach the customer, why management didn't apologize, why management didn't accommodate? All i read is excuses excuses excuses to justify why a damn roach was in the establishment you work in?
Ignorance to the tenth degree. Shame on you, Bronx Burger House for having people like Laura represent you and for commenting on such a manner. Still playing on defense when this response should've been the opportunity to invite such a dissatisfied customer back for a good time, on you!
This is what I am referring to from Yelp:
CUSTOMER REVIEW: "Saw a roach here and no one did anything about it.. the manager refused to think there was anything wrong with this! Completely disgusting. To think an apology or to say this one is on us! Never going back again! I took a picture of the roach on the ceiling and they acted like nothing was wrong. NASTY!!!"
DESPICABLE RESPONSE from Laura L. of The Bronx Burger House Business Customer Service 4/7/2019: It was a warm, spring day and we had our doors open. We are right across from a park and a fly must have got in. We have passed 9 rigorous health inspections, all with an A grade. You are more than welcome to look us up NYC Dept of Health for our reports. You never came to management to give us an opportunity to rectify the situation. There were numerous people in our dining room and you had an issue when you had eaten your whole meal. You had to be chased down to pay your bill. We are all about being fair, but we are not going to please people looking for...
Read moreIf I could give it zero stars I would. First off I tried to call and place my order for pickup and the lady left me on hold-no hold button mind you-I could hear all the noise in there background rolls laughing/talking after 10 minutes I hung up and my Husband walked over there to the restaurant to place my order in person. All I wanted was Steak Nachos- so when my husband came back with the food I was excited cause WE have never been there before- what I received was just cheese nachos (salsa & sour cream on the side)-no steak.. my husband had to walk back to the restaurant and complain - so again when he came back they put the steak in a seperate container-they couldn’t even redo my Nachos and make it look presentable-we eat with our eyes first. I was very unhappy… is this how they treat their customers/ for the price they’re charging. The restaurant did void the transaction/refunded us but that wasn’t even the point… we heard really good things about this place and I was so unsatisfied- I would NEVER eat there again nor will I tell anyone I know to go there. I would’ve been happier with a PBJ sandwich. I hate to say this but would I have been given better food had i been a different Nationality. Oh and the food was horrible I ended up tossing it out. 🤬🤬🤬🤬😠 ....
Read moreMy friend and I went to Bronx Burger House to celebrate her birthday, where the owner Laura shared with us that she was having a drag event in honor of Pride month on Saturday June 19. She encouraged us to come by. We had lunch and enjoyed the food. The next day, I went to Bronx Burger House to provide support for the event. When I tried to ask for a table, I saw the owner Laura, who asked me if I had a reservation. When I responded that I did not have a reservation, she responded that it was a private event and she was sorry. She then walked away.
I found the experience disappointing and dismissive. If Laura would have initially said that a reservation was required and the event was private, I would not have wasted a trip. Communication with your patrons matters. While I enjoyed the lunch with my friend on Friday, I will not return to the Bronx Burger House after...
