Cafe — Restaurant in New York

So I had an appointment here at the hospital and as I traveled back towards the elevator I noticed there was a little small cafe. This Cafe was as stated small but it seemed to have been able to see at least about 30 people if there was a crowd. I didn't know what to expect but I was seated almost immediately. The waiter bought me a menu the prices were moderately priced. I was not happy that I was served a cup of coffee in a paper cup. This was a to-go cup I would have preferred my coffee be served in a mug to keep it hot. I ordered waffles and Ham the waffle was flat it was not fluffy like it's supposed to be the color of it change from light to dark in certain areas and on the opposite side of the waffle it was a tan or beige color. However when I cut into it corners of the waffle were a little doughy. The ham was just a piece of ham sliced off of maybe a boar head roll of deli meat nothing to write home about. As you see in the picture it really did not offer iCandy pleasure for the stomach. I doubt seriously I would come back here to order a meal at least not breakfast. However I would take a coffee to go I know I won't be served in a mug but as long as it's to go I don't care that it's in a cup. Don't understand why people place comments about a business that has nothing to do with the hospital. Sure prices may be on the higher end but tell me this, what other options do you have? Even if you do venture out to find another place, you may find pricing lower but it's still fast food choices.

Do you really think you're going to get some fancy takeout at this or any other location that serves up fast food? If you want a better meal, then make sure you have a car to drive outside this neighborhood.

One comment reads, add more seasoning. Not everyone salt intake the same. If you want more, then add it yourself. They need to cater to the general population and not just yours. Another comment, food is nasty. It's fast food, you want better then go outside and purchase your own fast food you like. My main point here is, stop the drama/complaining, eat your food and don't talk with your mouth full. See now, that's nasty.

I give this establishment a 3 1/2 star rating. It works for what you need it for and that's a quick meal to eat. It caters more to customers who don't want to venture...

Why did I just find out they are 24 hours?!!! 😂😂😂 I'm so happy this place is here. This area around here is a decent American fare desert. The server's could use a little training in Steps of Service and the POS needs to be updated to accept tips. The food I have gotten has always been really good with one caveat; The Pizza Burger. L-rd let me come back there and show you how to make a proper pizza burger.

Pluses: *Awesome daily specials. *Cheap (Sammich and large coffee for *$4 how can you complain?) *Employs locals and highschool kid *Food has been consistently decent Diner fare *For being in the hospital still got a cute little diner thing going on decor wise *Workers have seemed friendly.

Minuses: *It's in a hospital... *service has been all over the place slightly disorganized. *Can't tip server by card *Usually pretty busy and that's not good for the already confused workers.

All and all... I live across the street and it works for me and I like sitting and...
