On a first visit we tried the "house" items first brought to our attention by @tacoliteracy, including a taco, torta, and quesadilla. The hand-written signs add a welcoming atmosphere that is strengthened by the friendly and warm people that run the place. In total, this is definitely up there with the area's great market kitchens and benefits from being open 7 days a week.

I got the quesadilla especiale with chicken and mushroom for $9 (the mushroom was ok but next time I'd just get the regular cheese quesadilla for $6). Also got a carne asada taco which had a good amount of meat.

If you’re in the area you must try their chicken nachos ! I always order by beef steak here to cook as well and it is fresh. Have the lady cut it instead of the man, he cuts it thickly. Also they sell flans which are delicious. A lot of men come into here to eat/dine in...
