Probably the best tacos I have ever had! There are so many hidden gems in New York City and this is one of them! I was heading to the Bronx to go shopping on southern boulevard but I was hella hungry, and I found this amazing taco place on google maps! I walk in and it is empty, which makes no sense because the food is amazing! This place is no frills, it’s not fancy, it’s authentic real Mexican food, made by Mexicans in a Mexican run business. The man at the counter was very helpful, nice, and courteous. I ordered the birria tacos and waited patiently at my table, admiring the mini Mexican flags hanging on the walls as music played in the background . Then my tacos were finally ready, they looked so beautiful I had to take a photo. The first bite was heaven, the meat was so juicy, and the cheese melted in my mouth! I finished both of them! The broth was excellent as well. I also added the hot sauces/lime wedges that were brought to my table, a great edition to the tacos. As I ate the place became packed because everyone was on lunch break! I payed (obviously) and left to go shopping. It was a great New York adventure, and I would love to go again.

This restaurant is extremely hot, there is no air conditioner available. It was empty. I was the only one there. I walked up to the counter and ordered three tacos and a pineapple soda which came out to $30.35. the gentleman was accommodating enough to add his own tip without my knowledge. He deserved absolutely nothing because there was no table service. I walked up to the counter place my order with him and stood there while they cooked it. When the tacos were handed to me they were sloppy and falling apart and not aesthetically pleasing. What puzzles me is that the receipt does not have any details or breakdown of the transaction and how could three tacos cost over $30? In any event I've already filed an informal complaint with the state attorney's office and will be seeing them again soon in regards to that matter. In short, the food is not worth it and neither is the overcharging that the employee fraudulently placed on my receipt.

Hands down the best tacos in the Bronx, especially the Birria offerings! Very picky on where I get my tacos and I’ve been ordering from here for the last 3 years since I discovered them on UberEats. I never get a good photo because I’m always eager to dig right in 🤤 and they never miss! Love their burgers too 10/10 no notes for anything, please never change Don Chile 🙏🏽

Went here today 5/15 around 530 with my friend after work. Our company always caters food for lunch from here so we figured why not. When we got there we asked a few questions before ordering and was told the hard shell tacos came with lettuce sour cream cheddar cheese and pico. Also asked about the smoothie which he said I could mix fruits in. The smoothie came with milk, this was not on the menu. I cannot drink regular milk as I have an allergy to it. I asked about it when it came and he was annoyed by me asking. When I said I didn’t want it, he said he would hold it in the back until I was ready for it. I repeated that I did not want it. He shrugged and walked off with an attitude. They served the hard shell tacos with CHEESE WHIZ and when my friend asked the man that served us about it, he got extremely agitated and said this is how we make it and that is cheddar cheese. We tried to explain that we thought it was shredded cheese to which he wasn’t trying to hear and continued to dismiss me by telling me he was talking to my friend not me when I added on to what she was saying. Ultimately, after that he avoided our table and we had to call for him 3x before he came back with a cup for my friends soda and for me to order another drink. His attitude and lack of respect were extremely off putting and unacceptable. He told me if I have a problem to call the number on the menu because he just works there. Absolutely despicable service. Will not...
