My favorite place for a quick and excellent meal...and a chance to see friends. This is more than a deli. The quesadilla is as good as it gets. Pasta bolognese, prepared by the regular chef Nick is outstanding. Bacon and eggs at 10 PM? ... on City Island? Impossible anywhere else, but not at the Firehouse Deli. Nice deli on City Island, carries a lovely cross section of dry goods and various juices, there is a section to make your own hot coffee or tea, they also carry a variety of cold cut for sandwiches and you can call ahead and make your order for what you would like to eat once it's on the menu.
