Heartland Bagels 2 — Restaurant in New York

I mean, the place is great and I suffer whenever eat a subpar bagel elsewhere. Love the bagels so much--I get'm everytime I'm in the area. Lots of different types of cream cheese, including tempeh if that's your thing, plus fresh smoked lox, BEC, bialy, etc., the list goes on.

Sandwiches from them are also real good, plus they do party platters of bagels, sandwiches, or donuts (and they'll even customize the donuts for you if you ask). They also have a nice though limited selection of pastry in the morning and the coffee is pure ambrosia from the gods.

Although the bagels still taste nice, they’ve gone down considerably in size. Further, check out the barely-there butter. A good bagel with butter should have at least double that they did here.

Bagel itself is cooked perfectly and is nice and crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. I’d personally add a bit more salt to the dough but whatever. That’s what the butter is for — oh, wait.

This place is a great spot to grab some delicious and fresh sandwiches. I've tried their pastrami sandwich multiple times and it has never disappointed me. The prices are very reasonable and the service quality is good as well. The only thing I wish they had a wider space to accommodate some seating, so I could sit and enjoy my meal.
