Carvel — Restaurant in New York

I’m a frequent Carvel customer. I probably stop and order a Reese’s sundae dasher anywhere between 2-3 times a week. This was the first time stopping at this Carvel location last Thursday. This place was nice and clean, and there was also seating inside to enjoy your ice cream. I ordered the Reese’s sundae dasher with triple brownie ice cream with no hot fudge or whip cream and with extra peanut butter. I asked the guy to start my dasher with peanut butter, and he told me no he wouldn’t do that! I thought that was ridiculous since I’m a paying customer. That’s why I’m taking off a star as I usually rate Carvel 4 stars. The Reese’s dasher is delicious, but besides the fact that the guy wouldn’t start my dasher with peanut butter. He barely put any peanut butter when I requested extra peanut butter as you can see in my picture. Kinda disappointing. I’m probably won’t be returning to this...

I love in the neighborhood and I don't mean to be that Karen but I have known to go in and order banana splits and they are out of bananas so I go next door and get them plenty of bananas so I can get mine and they have for rest of day,I leave good tips every single time I go in ....today I'm short 22 cents and the girl would not even hand over the cone till I paid the remaining .22cents she made me feel so little that I left the cone went home and got the money and returned so their register would not be short my .22 cents you would think they would give me my cone ,nope they threw it...

I gave this place only one star because every time I go there, if the staff is all female, they are very kurt and nasty. They never smile and act like it’s a bother to take & complete the order. A friendly smile wouldn’t hurt once in a while. They act like they hate their job and the customers that come in there. I think I’ll just find another Carvel location to go to the next...
