Marianne's Pizza Cafe — Restaurant in New York

Let's start with the good, the staff is super friendly, the place is clean and the hot wings were very good. The issue is with the pizza, although the flavor is there, it's been undercooked the two times that we've ordered take-out. Now, if you have a pizza stone, you can finish it at home and you will get good crunch, good flavor, zero flop and probably the best pizza in the neighborhood. We mentioned in the notes for our last order for the pizza to be well done, but it was still undercooked. This could be easily solved, but either cooking the pizza longer or at a higher temp. Marianne's is an excellent New York slice. I was up in Yonkers and needed a quick meal. The pizza has a very good crispy crust with the right amount of sauce and cheese which makes it a classic New York slice. In addition, the staff and Marianne are very friendly and the place has a warm cozy atmosphere(no harsh lighting). Marianne's Editing my review below as I keep coming back here for the pizza, it's my daughter's favorite and because the owner and staff are really nice people. Nona's (name of previous restaurant) baked ziti was bad. The pasta used was not ziti, it was penne. I asked for grilled chicken to be added and it was almost non existent. The sauce was watery and lacked flavor, it was very acidity, like a store bough pasta sauce. The cheese added was not good. I orders for delivery and it come fast and the person who took the order was nice. I will stick to ordering...
