Subject: Broken Frappe Machine and Poor Customer Service at Nostrand Avenue Location
Dear McDonald's Corporate Team,
I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the McDonald's location at 35-40 Nostrand Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11216. As a loyal customer who visits this location daily, I have experienced a month-long issue with the Frappe machine being out of order.
Despite my repeated visits, the machine has not been repaired, forcing me to go to alternative locations, such as the Flatbush McDonald's or competing businesses like Drunken Donuts or Starbucks. This has not only inconvenienced me but also resulted in lost sales for the Nostrand Avenue location.
Furthermore, when I brought this issue to the attention of the staff, I was met with sarcasm and rudeness. On one occasion, an employee responded with a dismissive "Welcome to McDonald's, what's your order?" when I mentioned the broken machine.
I have attached receipts from my visits to demonstrate my loyalty and frequent patronage. I believe it is reasonable to expect a functional Frappe machine and respectful customer service, especially during promotional periods.
I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and take necessary steps to:
Repair or replace the Frappe machine at the Nostrand Avenue location. Address the poor customer service I experienced. Consider providing compensation or a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience I've experienced.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to...
Read moreYou don't expect much from a McD's. Really, it's the lowest of the low fast food you can get, but even this franchise manages to screw it up so badly that I'd rather drive to the corporate owned one on Flatbush when I have a hankering for some gastric punishment.
The staff has hands down the worst attitude. Listen, I get it. You work at a McDonald's. It's a crap job with crap pay, but how hard is it to own up to a mistake and then fix it without acting like it's my fault you 1)Didn't pay attention when I placed my order, 2)Your line "cook" didn't pay attention when he assembled the order, and 3)You didn't pay attention when you bagged my order.
The soda machines are a coin flip. Half the time you'll get seltzer water with a splash of syrup, the other half you get so much syrup you half expect to find a mammoth skeleton at the bottom of your cup (that's a La Brea Tar Pits reference, folks). Don't bother informing the manager, because she doesn't give a damn.
The fries are always soggy, never fresh, cold more often than not.
The manager never seems to give a rats backside about anything.
The list goes on and on and on.
Top of the cake: advertised as a 24 hour establishment, but if you pull up to that drive through around 4AM, they're somehow closed for an hour because they haven't figured out how to keep operations going while they switch over to the breakfast menu, and they won't even give you the courtesy of letting you know this through...
Read moreHorrific, Grotesque, Disgusting, Abusive manager. I just came to get something to eat and was waiting a while. Then I saw the African American female manager with a goofy wig yell at a black employee(who was wearing a janitor uniform i think) who was struggling making fries. That type of verbal abuse is unacceptable and dehumanizing. My heart broke witnessing that and I no longer wanted to eat there, unfortunately I already paid. It seems they are understaffed and that manager must be a sociopath for not realizing that the reason they are understaffed is due to her unprofessional verbal abuse and humiliation. I also tried to use one of the two(i think) bathrooms, but they were both locked. I then noticed there was a puddle of urine going into what it seemed like the kitchen(from what i heard). This has to be the worst mcdonalds in all of America. Ive been to ones from Bakersfield to Detroit and none were as bad as this. I hope that mcdonalds gets shut down and the manager gets blacklisted from ever managing another greasy fast food restaurant again. I am reporting this to corporate...
