My Pizza — Restaurant in New York

The pizza was terrible! It tasted doughy and tough to chew. The cheese was different too, I just can’t explain it! There are much better pizza spots in the Bronx that you can try…anywhere else in the Bronx…just not here! I ordered a small PEPPERONI pizza with extra cheese and I asked for extra sauce on the pizza as well. When I received the pizza, there was no pepperoni anywhere on the pizza and there was no extra sauce on it either, but the extra cheese was there! Is there a pepperoni and sauce shortage that I didn’t know about? Because there was definitely none on my pizza lol. I called the restaurant and the person (male) who answered told me that the delivery driver had two pizzas, one pepperoni and one cheese that was going to my same apt bldg which was a lie. The Uber delivery driver only had one pizza with him at the time of delivery and the receipt was with the pizza which showed my name. I paid for priority delivery so I came first and the driver didn’t have any other pizzas with him. Therefore, I know there was no mix up on the delivery drivers’ part, but on the actual My Pizza restaurants’ end. I also ordered Zeppolis which came with a hint of sugar and they were so hard and crispy! They were not airy in the middle and were cooked too done! They were not tasty and hard to bite into so I gave them to my dog who also had a hard time chewing them and his teeth I thought could get into anything! lol I later looked at other reviews for this place after I placed the order and other people had the same issue with the restaurant. Their order was messed up too and the restaurant did not want to admit fault on their mistake. I should have listened to the reviews and ordered from a different pizza spot!...

I used to buy from here a lot through seamless and wasn’t that bad. The food is good and okay but the customer service is horrible. I called last year in 2018 when it was a huge snow storm approaching I called and made a order and they told me clearly it would be around 20-30 min cause it was busy. I was okay with that because I know a lot of people order. I waited and waited and when I called back I overheard a person speaking Spanish telling the lady that was on the phone with me that someone called to cancel the order. I was shocked because I never called to cancel no order and they made it seem like I was a liar. If they knew they could not deliver I would of been okay with it if they called me instead and told me they couldn’t deliver but to say I lied and I canceled it instead made me upset. I don’t support or want to order or even buy from them anymore because they favor and don’t value customers. I recently saw a nice delivery guy the other day coming inside the building when I was coming from work and he was very sweet and even came to my floor to deliver some pizza to a neighbor. Sometimes that same guy would deliver to my door but when it was another guy he never did that for me when I asked I always had to come down stairs to pick up my orders which I don’t mind but if I wanted that option he would always say he couldn’t park there. I will never be on this place again and I've been a my pizza customer since they opened in 2011 or 2012 but the reason i said i will never come back is because of the service one or a few of your employees have. Today 5-17-2024 i went there at 10:30AM to buy something to eat and there was no one at the register and there is a Dominican guy with beard and no mustache at the pizza station and he didn't even asked me if i wanted to order something, and then a minute later here comes the other guy (he also have beard and mustache and he always wearing a hat and he looks young maybe 23 or 25 years old) that works at the register and he said hi to me and said the same to him, and i was there more than ten minutes waiting and he didn't even have the courtesy to ask me if i have order anything or need something. he sees me leaving and i know he was looking at me because i didn't even look at his face but he still didn't say nothing to me and this is the second time i go there and he does the same thing that he never ask me if i want to buy something. Most of the time i go there i see him joking with the other employees at the pizza station and if he does that to me every time I go over there he could do the same thing to another customers too. the way i see it he is just getting paid to do nothing on the morning shift.
