The reasons I am giving the restaurant 2 stars is because it is clean and the food is good. But as for prices, consistency, and service, it’s very bad. I went around 11:50am to ask for the breakfast, the lady told me they were out of mashed plantains, they only had yuca and green bananas, i told her to give it to me with green bananas, she said it would be a little wait for it to be ready, she told me the order is 7 dollars. I sat down the the waiter asked me I I wanted anything to drink, I told him a glass of water. He left and didn’t come back. By the time I received my plate it was 12:20pm and he asked me again what I wanted to drink, and I replied, just the water I asked for, he apologized and and brought me a Poland spring bottled water and left. I finished eating around 12:50, I was waiting for the waiter to come and give me the bill, he didn’t come after 11 minutes of waiting, I went to the lady that took my order and told her I wanted to pay, no one knew what to charge me! They called the waiter, he went in the computer punched in some numbers and my bill came to around $10.45 almost 11 dollars, i inquired, you told me it was 7 dollars, she told me since it was passed 12, breakfast prices are over and taxes made it so expensive, I told i was here before 12, and she didn’t informe me of that, then I told her first I didn’t ask for a bottle water, they said oh give it back and we will give you back the money for the bottled water. I didn’t open it and have it back. In all business they have a policy of the customer is always right, over here they tell you one price, and charge you another, and instead of apologizing and owning up to your mistake, they make excuses and try to justify errors. I paid them the 11 dollars, but because if that customer service experience, I will not be back, even if the food is good and the place is very clean. Read moreIf I could. I would give it 0 stars. I ordered lunch from here. And it took over an hour to get here. This is why. The delivery guy had trouble understanding my address, then he called me to come down and he wasn't even at the right address. Then I repeated my address with the cross streets and he said no he's not going to deliver it to me and I said but I paid for my food so you deliver it to me, so he said no and hung up. So I called the restaurant and they had me on hold and then hung up. So I called again and I explain the situation to the lady that picked up the phone and she said he's coming he's coming he's on his way. And I kept explaining to her that the delivery guy did not want to deliver to me. So I had to get me on the phone with someone that understood me. And then once I said if I don't get my food I want my money back then they said they'd send another delivery guy. I contacted yelp and I told them the situation and I said I want my $5.00 tip back. I got my five dollar tip back. And I got my food from another delivery guy. The food was good but I will never ever in my life order from this unprofessional restaurant again. They need to hire professional delivery drivers that understand English too. If this establishment continues to be irresponsible they will keep losing money and go out of business. Read moreI always order from here, I usually NEVER have a problem unless their sweet plantains are old and sometimes the food can seem old. Last night I ordered at 7:50pm, waited all hours of the night until it was their closing time and my food NEVER ARRIVED. I also called TWICE in between the time that I originally ordered to their closing time to ask when is my food coming? They told me it was busy so I said cool, no problem… I call in the morning to inquire about this (and also because I paid with card and I want my money back) and the lady on the phone tells me to call after 3pm because she wasn’t working at that time. So I call after 3pm, now the lady who answers the phone is extremely rude, telling me that “it’s strange” that I’m claiming I never received my food, basically insinuating that I am LYING. Which is crazy to me because I don’t care about the food anymore, it’s the next day, I just want my $40 back on my card.
