Pasta Pasta — Restaurant in New York

So I was looking for good pasta places , and went on google and i was very impressed on all the many amazing reviews, i was telling my bf like we have to try it, we went today and the place was nice and my type of places , we ordered to go tho, employee was very nice and patient, food was just a 20 min wait which was amazing , then when i went to pay my card declined the guy said idky, cause i had well enough on my card, so he brings it back and says to me declined i said well that’s impossible cause i have more then enough money on it, so i cleaned the chip part cause i know maybe that’s why idk, so he shows me the receipt and says to me you gotta make sure you have more then this amount on it miss, cause it declined, do you have another payment, we had cash but that wasn’t an option because i know there wasn’t anything wrong with my card cause that never happened, so i said sir i will pay with my card cause i have more then enough to pay for my meal, at first he didn’t wanna take it, but took it, it went through , he goes oh it went probably was the machine, so i go yea you thought i didn’t have any money on it hmm, he goes Nono but yeah w.e , got home food was still was nice and hot , we order penne al Volka and baked ziti with meat , bread was tough, food was not great , lacked flavor and tasted funny , like i had this many times from different places and never tasted as weird as it did, so disappointing cause now we had to figure out what else to eat , they serve a lot , just wished the food taste better. Or maybe it’s like a hit or miss type...

Avoid this mediocre place at all costs, the food was utterly atrocious, the quality was terrible and beyod tasteless. I ordered the Penne Alla Vodka and I requested for them not to add prosciutto(ham) since I’m a Pescatarian. The Chicken Alfredo also tasted poorly it had absolutely no flavor. I called the restaurant to make sure my order did not have meat and to request garlic bread since it was not an option on the menu. The gentlemen stated that he could send it but to add the Pasta E Fagioli as a replacement ($12) for the garlic bread, he would also make sure no meat was added to my food. I called after I received my poorly executed order with horrible presentation and spoke with John, he immediately got an attitude and instead of addressing the issue he said "were too busy" then proceeded to raise his voice and hung up(your attitude is disgusting and unacceptable John). I will never order from this place again and I’ll make sure all of my friends and family do the same. Almost $100 for overpriced nauseating food. I will continue to order from Original Joe’s Pizzeria down the block, unfortunately they don’t deliver to my area( excellent food and extraordinary service). I opted for the worst Italian food ever at Pasta-Pasta,...

I've had spaghetti carbonara in Florence, Milan and Rome Italy which is why I'm so addicted to the dish. I've been trying to find a place to replicate it here in NYC. Visited Pasta Pasta on Williamsbridge and it was horrible. Watery, extra greasy and with onions. ONIONS! I'm highly disappointed and sad I wasted $20.
