02/14/2024 update I tried the new Vietnamese menu with a few friends and we all loved it. Beef pho - delicious clean tasting broth. The rare beef and flank had the correct thinness and texture. The bean sprouts were fresh and crunchy. Grilled pork banh mi - we loved the flavor of the pork. The baguette was toasted to the right amount of crispness. Crispy spring rolls - I love this type of smooth wrapper then fried. The filling was flavorful and the right amount. Shrimp and pork summer roll - it tasted great, especially with the peanut sauce. I do wish the sauce was thicker, but the flavor was amazing. Grilled pork rice vermicelli - it was a hefty container of goodness. Great grilled pork taste. _______ Original review posted 5 months prior to updated review: Lovely small business to visit. The staff were accommodating and friendly. The food tasted great and it was completely worth it. It's a good quick bite if you're going to a doctor nearby. Tip, you can get the crust extra crispy when asked and it's phenomenal.

Heard about a new Vietnamese restaurant opening in the Bronx and wanted to give it a go. It's a mom and pop Vietnamese restaurant inside a Pizzeria. Don't let the appearance fool you. This mom and pop Vietnamese brings me back to my childhood. Grandmas Pho. It's a pizzeria so not ideal for an exotic date. This is more for quick bites or dinner with few buddies as seating fits no more than 5 to a table. Great for kids. Service is kind and humble as it's a small family owned business. Now to the food. Had the spring rolls. Filling and big, the sauce was perfect. The summer rolls were big fat and their peanut dip is not too sweet. The pho was great. Huge portions, lots of cuts of proteins, guaranteed a value at $13. Topped it off with sugarcane drink and coffee. Bathrooms are clean as well. This is a great addition to the Bronx community. Thank you for having me VPho!!! Can't wait to come back!

I actually sat for an hour waiting on my food. Some people that knew the staff came in to order. The place was busy. The staff looked around and started to push/rush people out so that his people could sit down and eat. There is no wait time implemented by signs by the way. These customers came in about 20 minutes after my partner and I already ordered. They put in their orders in way after. They left for a few til their table was ready. When they came in , they sat down and IMMEDIATELY received their drinks. A couple minutes after they received their food. I was there almost an hour by this time, arrived way before them and ordered WAY BEFORE THEM. I did not receive anything but a bottle of water and summer rolls. I ordered two pho entrees and the same drink as the other customers. The only difference is , I didn’t not receive mine. It’s not about the wait time , it’s about waiting and then putting their people first. When I went up and asked to pay for what I ate so I could leave . Staff told me that the food was coming. I then told the staff that “it’s crazy other people received their food and drinks and I ordered way before them.” ( we all ordered Pho and drinks) so there was no reason as to why they received their items and I did not. The staff turned to the other staff and said “ see what I told you”. Which indicated that they were aware of their actions. I paid for my water and rolls and proceeded to leave. The “ chef” came to the front with an attitude as well when asked for a copy of my receipt. This was such a distasteful experience and very disappointing. I went out my way to specifically travel here. Good food means nothing with bad service. Hopefully they change to better future customers...

I was excited to know that there was a pho shop on this side of the Bronx however that didn’t last long. Food tasted decent enough but they need to learn what is on their menu. I ordered P1 and was given P3 instead. I also order crispy shrimp roll but was given regular fried egg rolls even after verifying if it was the correct order. She blatantly lied to me saying “yeah…yeah it has shrimp in it”. We were not even offered water and no plates. Service left much to be desired. They currently have two servers that are not trained in handling restaurant styled food service while the owner sits in her corner watching Vietnamese music videos. She doesn’t even bother to help knowing that they are unfamiliar with table side service. This restaurant looks like a mesh mash of two different ideas that is not working out maybe they should focus on one and get it right first. They would need to fix how things are managed first before I would even...
