I was customer of CVS pharmacy last 6 years of various locations of NYC , Recently ( about a month back) I moved to Bronx from Queens, So I was looking CVS pharmacy in the Bronx which is closed to my residence , So I found this pharmacy because it was close to my residence where I live, Upon my request, my doctors office sent prescription to this pharmacy, Initially despite 4 days, they haven't prepared my medicine, When I try to call several times to this pharmacy no body picking up the call and goes to machine set voicemail. Finally went and ask this pharmacy, the pharmacist in the counter says they haven't received , I called my doctors office they said they already sent twice prescription and said send it again , But even after 4 times repeatedly sending prescription these CVS pharmacy tells that they haven't received , Moreover I requested them to check but the pharmacist instead of checking or reporting matter to her manager, she acts like helpless , I asked about her manager but she said they are busy , Then I contacted CVS store Manager , I explained that how hard to get medicines for me and no one there in pharmacy to help me , If it is emergency what they do , She said pharmacy department doesn't come in her section, They have their separate manager . I told her that it is hard to find pharmacy manager for me , then she agreed to talk about this matter with Pharmacy Manager who always sit inside his/her cabin she went inside the cabin of pharmacy manager but what she was informed by Pharmacy manager is that doctors referral not received . However Pharmacy Manger dint come outside , neither tried or inquired doctors office that problem that not receiving prescriptions The Pharmacy manager hiding inside his/her cabin like a lazy rat. I have seen a lot of mangers if problem is not solved they will try what's the reason behind it why they don't receive electronic referal But this pharmacy manger acts like this matter doesn't come in his/her area of service , What a shame !!! I appreciate about CVS store manager, who at least tried her best with Pharma manger about my matter .even though matter not solved , So I was thinking to move other pharmacies , Before I wanted to move other pharmacies I directly went to my Doctors office and talked with their Office Manager explaining him my matter of medicines that I hard to get in CVS store , He assured me that he want to make sure that I will get medicine within 24 hours, So I went to CVS store again for the last time I got medicines I'm grateful to my doctors office But for this pharmacy not eligible to get even Zero stars and the manager of this pharmacy is a ghost seems, never seen, sits inside his/her cave, hesitate interact with customers, seems lack of working in fast paced environment , I don't...
Read moreDo you know why the store is rated 2.9, let me join the many people who are quite upset with how this store is being managed, I have a degree in business management and I can tell you right off the back, You definitely don’t want to hire people who have an attitude and show it in their faces, CVS policy is to welcome the people to make them feel safe to make them want to come and buy things knowing that there fellow team member who works at CVS is gonna help them or brighten their day some how. That store always has three people on the floor where personally I would put four and that’s including the manager.
My last pet peeve is the pharmacy. I don’t know who’s running the pharmacy but they need to wake up to understand that they need to hire someone who’s job is to answer the phone when customers call for check ups on their medication or if they’re taking the right dosage or find the right instructions if they get confused, they leave you on hold for 30 minutes. I called 3 times, one was 26 minutes the other one was eight and the last one was six. I almost lost it. I ended up calling 911 because somebody was gonna get hurt.
This was ridiculous. Something that could’ve been handled in 15 seconds. It was not handled by any of them and whoever was in the front that day knew that it was me calling they wouldn’t even pick up the phone and talk to me anymore. They would just transfer me to the pharmacy. I would love to be a part of the CVS family and help the store 1916 Williamsbridge become a great store where we will have a rating of over 4.0 in...
Read moreI had a very bad experience last Saturday July 31st, 2021. I drove my son to take his second Covid shot and when I got there, they asked me if I was not texted because there was no more Vaccine at that store. The pharmacist couldn't (or wanted to) tell me when they were going to have new batch of vaccines. The issue and concern I had was, no one called me or texted me about this change. As a worried parent now I had my son who was supposed to get his second shot in limbo, I didn't know where to go or if I should have waited because CVS didn't want to tell me anything. Now, we hear that the Bronx is at 50% vaccine rate, now I understand why. We don't have enough site to have the vaccine, and the pharmacies are not really prepared to do a good job. I drove from Throg Neck, do you think other people will go that far if they wouldn't drive? Go figure! The city doesn't really do a good job bringing the vaccine to the people. They want people to take a train for more than hour to go to the city or to other main site for something that should be openly available everywhere. After going to 3 pharmacies, and going back twice to the last one, I was able to get my second shot for my son. Crazy!
Another thing, I will never come back...
