Great venue and despite it being outside doesn't have a good air flow. That's fine. The area is set up perfectly for crowd flow Wanted to also add in anyone searching for or about the ROOFTOP UPGRADE cause I couldn't find one. Easily accessible if you're on the right side facing the stage. It's past the concession stand (also located on the right of the stage) through the double doors and there's stairs and an elevator to the right that takes you up. Its kind of a wait for the elevator to go up. Its a completely open area and doesn't look like there's canopies in case of rain. It's a nice space to get away from the crowd and get drinks fast with restrooms, the womens restom only had 3 stalls, on the same floor and a good amount of seating. They have their own music being pushed to the rooftop. Audio from the concert isn't being pushed to the rooftop. There are 3 glass windows that overlook the stage but you can't hear the music. That's a missed opportunity. The view of the ocean is nice and the breeze is great to cool down.

This is an outdoor theater that is covered, but the left side of the theater is exposed to the elements. It's right on the boardwalk so it may get cool depending on the time of year. Every seat is a decent seat. The security check is extensive so give yourself plenty of time to pass security and not miss any of the show. There is street parking but again you will have to ride around to find a spot. There are several parking lots that you can utilize. The seats are very close and tight. I saw Gladys Knight & the O'Jays here. The sound system was great for Gladys, not as good for the O'Jays. They have big screens for you to see the show as well. I would attend another event here

What was supposed to be a happy memory for my cousin’s middle school graduation turned into an absolute disaster. For starters, the event was completely unorganized and the staff, especially the security were completely disrespectful and uncoordinated. The temperature reached high 95s today and because this venue is located right next to the beach, my family and I brought 5 bottles of water because we didn’t want to dehydrate ourselves. However, when it was our turn to go through security, they roughly dug through our bags and almost tossed out all of our waters leaving us only one bottle left. Mind you, these were clear plastic bottles. This left all of us confused, and when my aunt tried to explain that those waters were for our family, they rudely ignored her. Since my cousin’s water was confiscated she nearly passed out due to dehydration and had a major headache for the whole day.

Secondly, I carry pepper spray for self defense due to unpleasant encounters. I understand they had to confiscate that but there’s no need to bad mouth me because I carry a pepper spray. New York City can be pretty unsafe at times and unfortunately, I have fell victim to some dangerous behaviors. The security guards bad mouthed me in front of me and made me feel like I was ignorant for carrying a pepper spray. They made me feel like I didn’t know what I was doing and tried to make me look dumb.

However, it doesn’t stop there. When we tried getting seated, we were disrespected by yet another security guard who gave us hella attitude and yelled at us in our faces because we were trying to get to our family friends. I’m sorry but if you lack patience and decent manners to properly communicate with someone, you should not be a security guard. The job simply isn’t for you. A security guard is supposed to provide and protect, not disrespect and belittle attendees. No family should ever endure this level of rudeness. Especially not during...

I absolutely would not recommend attending a concert here. I attended Rema’s concert on 07/ 22/23, and I was so excited to have an amazing time. However, it quickly became one of the worst concert experience. For starters, people are constantly trying to take seats that are not theirs. Before the concert started, the isle got really packed because everyone who bought seats for the back, felt like it was okay to inconvenience other people who actually paid the price for their seat and view. Although we were in Row C of our section, we could not see anything because of the way people filled any open space. My group and I was extremely uncomfortable and hot. The security did absolutely nothing to clear these isles. We had the first 4 seats in the row, so it was frustrating and impossible to get through to use the restroom or get a drink. We ended up leaving the seats we paid a lot of money for, to stand in the back where people weren’t constantly spilling stuff on you, and pushing into you. Secondly, THEY DO NOT ID ANYONE! Four young teenagers sat behind us, and those were not their seats. They had drinks, but after 30 mins to an hour they kept spilling drinks. One of the girls were literally screaming for absolutely no reason… I get it, it’s a concert. Everyone’s meant to sing along dance have fun etc.. but she was actually screaming!! Thirdly, they let any and everyone stand on the seats. The staff did absolutely nothing about any of these issues and it was just disappointing. From what I saw, the staff just stood around doing the absolute least. I urge you to take these things into consideration before attending...

My husband & I have seen many shows here. The space itself is amazing. Open air, protection from rain if needed & a spectacular light show right on the boardwalk.

Last night (August 12, 2023) we went to see Mastodon & Gojira. As soon as we got to the line area to enter I was shouted at by an employee that my purse was too big for me to take in & nastily pushed us towards some new locker area to check it despite the fact that I've brought this exact same bag to several shows here without incident. When we got to the "bag check" area, I was told there was a $10 fee to either put it in a locker (which I'd obviously have to return to after the show) or for an extremely uncomfortable clear bag TO PUT MY OWN BAG INSIDE OF. Not empty the contents of my bag into the clear bag, just put it inside. The rope straps caused a small bruise on the inside of my arm from rubbing. This obnoxious fee went to Live Nation, which I will also do my best to avoid from now on. After all this ruckus? No one ever checked our tickets.

There's virtually no seating anywhere in the amphitheatre so many people were sitting on rocks outside in the smoking area. Despite THE MANY others on the rocks, only my husband & I seemed to get yelled at by multiple employees sometimes simultaneously as if we were committing some heinous crime. They're rocks. We can't hurt them.

The merch was way overpriced as were the astronomically priced drinks. We've lived all the shows we've seen here but we will not be back. They obviously do not care about the concert goers. Just how much money they can snatch out of...
