While I was browsing through Uber eats I decided to go to this restaurant in person one because it was close to home and second because I wanted to try their "pupusas". Their restaurant decor seemed to catch my attention since it wasn't your typical Spanish restaurant setting, there was something about it that was slightly different and I had to go in person to see for myself. I was impressed by their greeting with a little cart that had some guacamole and a Pickled mix, promptly served with some corn chips. Not your typical bread and basket greeting. I must say I was impressed by the quality of the food the waiters were very attentive I don't really have any complaints. Some of the reviews I read before I went to the restaurant spoke about the overpriced drinks, however I ordered a piña colada and asked for the small size which turned out to be a regular size drink in any other restaurant. I can imagine the large size must be for two people or I might be mistaken but the $25 price tag kept me from killing the curiosity. I don't too taken aback though, I did my homework before visiting and I was pleased enough to say that I will be returning.

I've been here several times and now more than ever I feel like it's the right time to write a review. And simply put, it's because this restaurant made me do something I thought I'd never do: eat a whole fish, face and all. And it was absolutely delicious. Previous trips to this Central American and Mexican restaurant located in the South Bronx have included baleadas (a traditional Honduran handmade flour tortilla stuffed with mashed refried beans, crema and crumbled cheese with your choice of protein stuffing), pupusas (a Salvadorian handmade thick corn tortilla stuffed with a savory filling), sopa de marisco (with shrimp and mussels), incredible and hearty fish tacos, tamales and a true standout IMO, their casamiento (Central American mixed rice and beans). I've posted about this spot several times on my Instagram and Facebook pages and if you're looking for a true standout spot in the Bronx make Seis Vecinos the one to go to. Amazing food that'll open your palate up to new and awesome tastes, a great staff and straight up killer drinks, Seis Vecinos is a must visit!

LOVE THIS PLACE!! My family goes there anytime we are craving Honduran food and they never disappoint . Service is super friendly and attentive and completely in Spanish (this is the Bronx so why make any pretence of speaking English anyway?) so brush up in your Spanish! They serve a full menu of Central American dishes. Our family feels the stand out dishes are from Honduras and El Salvador. I would recommend you try these over their Mexican dishes. They offer mojitos and margaritas in many flavours and honestly you can’t go wrong. Absolutely order the guacamole . They will make it at your table to your preference .The baleadas and pupusas are amazing. I I recommend the tejadas of any kind; it’s green plantains covered with a cabbage salad and your choice of meat. Trust me ; even those that hate vegetables will finish every bite of these! The soups are amazing , especially the shrimp with coconut milk. Follow them on instagram if you want temptation !

Great ambient to hangout and have some nice tasty food. The pupusas was delicious definitely would recommend them. Would’ve love to give 5 stars but it took almost two hours to get our food. The waitress was very polite and professional, got our drinks order and granted my cousin couldn’t make up her mind about what to eat at first and we asked the waitress to give us a minute to decide what to eat. However and an hour went by and the waitress never came back we contemplated leaving because there were customer that came after us and got the food before us. Finally I had to wave one of the waiters to get some attention. The drink were ok nothing too fancy would recommend the piña colada my cousin got a good buzz from it. Overall great spot to hangout and eat the atmosphere is welcoming.

Lived in this neighborhood for over 10 years I always try out my local restaurants this place was by far THE BEST! Service was fantastic, ordered way too much food and I can’t say a single dish or side was bland Everything’s was so flavorful and fresh! 1,000% the best tacos I’ve had within a 13 mile radius Bar isn’t up yet, and there’s not to go menus yet but the place recently opened (or reopened I’m not so sure) but look if you’re from around this part of the Bronx you seriously can’t go wrong the food is the same price as everywhere else with the benefit of being delicious And if that hasn’t sold you on why you should at least try this place here’s some pics of mine and my dads meal :)
