Pitusa Bakery — Restaurant in New York

Good morning and blessings to all of you, I want to share something about this place. I work for NYCT/MTA, my friends and I have been shopping at this place for years and unfortunately I have to say that this place is getting worse every day in terms of customer service. Last week my colleagues and I arrived to shop and after we told the person who was serving us that we were going to pay for everything together, she got upset and told us in a bad way that it couldn't be done and continued arguing. Today we came back again, I wanted to buy oatmeal and sweet bread, when I told her that I wanted the bread that was in the middle of the tray, she got upset and yelled at me that it couldn't be done. That I had to buy the one she was giving me. I asked about the boss and only the boss's son was there. He also told me that he couldn't and he agreed with her. My question is this. If you are buying something, do you buy what you are paying for or should you buy what they want to sell to you? It's supposed that if you pay, you have the right to buy what you're going to pay. In this country, the customer is always right. We are in states, not in a third world country. Badly mannered people who don't know respect should not work in...

I rate this bakery Horrible . Yeah the food may be fresh but the customer service is Terrible . As a Customer coming into the store everyday , I should be able to receive a plastic bag if I want one for my food to hold . Well on 1/19 I was told I wasn’t able to get a plastic bag because I didn’t spend $3. ( insane ) I asked why can’t I get a plastic bag , the young lady began to say because I didn’t spend enough . I was lost . Why should someone have to spend $3 just to get a bag .Now just the day before I spent $2 I was able to get a plastic bag . So I was really lost . I ask to speak to a manager and his response was “ Dunkin Donuts doesn’t give you a bag “ ( horrible response from the business owner ) I see it as this for him to be so nonchalant about it when I approach him , was tacky and unprofessional as a business owner. Without the people in the community supporting your business , even spending $2 you wouldn’t have a business . If every person decided not to come into his business , he wouldn’t have one . Remember your only a bakery . He should humble himself and remember without me and others you won’t have NOTHING !!! I will never give these people my money again . Not...

The breakfast is amazing The cakes are delicious, 4 stars because they put the wrong cream in my child's cake and we didn't know until we cut the cake at her party, but other than that this is an amazing bakery and breakfast spot, the food is delicious! My daughter does not like Strawberry lol

UPDATE! being that this is THE ONLY bakery in my area I bought another birthday cake on emergency, instead of chocolate mousse because they always put strawberry jelly with strawberry pieces in chocolate mousse cake (idky) I instead bought a reg cake with vanilla cream, and I wish I did not ever spend a dime on that cake, when I say BONE DRY I MEAN BONE DRYYYYYYY, it's sad because the icing was pretty good, the cake was fresh but the cake itself was dryer than the Sahara desert, I wish they would just do better with these cakes, there's no competition in the area so they just don't put any effort into these cakes and it's so sad, I was better off buying a carvel ice cream cake at the market for the same price, well lesson learned and I will not be supporting this bakery on any...
