Tamaqua Bar & Marina — Restaurant in New York

Ever since this place was overtaken and has new ownership, service has gotten 50x worse. The owner John is a mean, nasty and inconsiderate guy. He curses everyone out for no reason. Needless to say, the bar is serving alcohol at 9am, 2 hours before the legal selling time. DO NOT GO HERE! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! Business needs to be SHUT DOWN by city agencies and Health Department. NOT Wheelchair friendly or accessible. Such a shame and scam that John decides he can charge $2 - $3 more per gallon of gas for the boats that come by needing fuel....

Great place. Large bar. Good drinks, typical bar food. Nice ambiance. Have live music on some nights/weekends. Worth checking out. It's in an odd place, sitting by the water, but in a small residential neighborhood. GPS may send you down a road you cannot cross to get to it, but the inlet is there- so go around through the neighborhood to get to the entrance on the opposite side.
