The Bagel Box — Restaurant in New York

I have been coming to this deli since I was a kid and I love the workers here they’re always so pleasant and sweet no matter the shift. I used to love coming there because it was like a place that brightened my day. However, I do not know her name she is an older lady and is newer she has somewhat red hair and she literally ruined this place for me. I always order two egg sandwiches a simple BEC or HEC or SEC one no ketchup because they’re allergic and one with ketchup and every time she throws a fit as if it was such a difficult order, and she always walks away before I could even tell her my full order. The thing that bothers me most is that I get it some people just have bad days but I swear every single time I get her to help me shes never in a good mood or even a decent mood at least, and what I just described is what happens every time. Whats even worse is that my boyfriend experiences the same thing with her so I know its not just me. Honestly I will be coming back and if this continues in my opinion management should do something about it because if not they are losing a few...

A Disappointing and Concerning Experience

I had a very unpleasant experience with an egg sandwich from Bagel Box. Something on the bagel had a strong chemical taste—so strong that two other people immediately noticed it as well. Concerned for our health, I tried calling the store to report the issue and ask for help. Unfortunately, I was either left on hold indefinitely or hung up on—five separate phone calls and not one helpful response.

This isn’t just a matter of poor customer service; it’s a potential food safety concern, and the lack of urgency or care from the staff is deeply troubling. I expected more from a place that serves food to the public. I won’t be returning, and I hope the store takes food safety and customer concerns more seriously...

I would take a picture of my delectable sandwich…but it’s gone already. I had the Peter Luger Roast beef sandwich and it was fantastic. My daughter had a BBQ Burger and my wife a chicken cutlet panini and all three sandwiches were amazing. Not to mention how clean this “bagel store” was, which is to say it’s more than a bagel store. Truly immaculate. The service??? Perfect. The staff is warm and welcoming. When I spoke to the guy helping us, I mentioned how I’ve never had a bad meal here but the shop is out of the way for me. I told him “I come back because the people are so nice and the food is so good”. His response is why I still go out of my way to patron The Bagel Box…”we should all be nice to...
