The Franklin pulled off an amazing culinary experience that I would like to make happen again and again. The place looks amazing, it’s intimate and decorated just perfectly. The restaurant used to be an old bodega and they used reclaimed wood from its previous space to create these beautiful square and rectangular wood frame art pieces on the wall. The marble bar and table tops made me feel like I was somewhere else and not 15 minutes away from my house! The service was top tier and the foodddd (!) listennnn I’m still talking about that crispy skin chicken and those smashed potatoes two days later! Brooklyn deserves this neighborhood gem. Go here!

The Franklin Wine Bar, exceeds all expectations for previous wine bars I have been to before! The Franklin has an excellent mix of great food and delicious wines to sample. My favorite wine of the night was the Gargante which was a natural white wine free of sulfites. It was sampled with the charcuterie board. Each of the bartenders was very educated on the wine selection which helped elevate the experience

had the best time here. been wanting to visit since I heard it opened, so we made sure to stop by while in the area. shared many delicious bottles of wine, and had two mixed plates of charcuterie. vibes here were top notch and the cover of sugar ray was worth the double play. would’ve stayed forever if I could have!

First and foremost, to call this place a "bar" is an understatement. The service you receive supersedes that of any gentrified-fancy-hipster overpriced venue you'll find in nearby Williamsburg.

THE SERVICE: This BLACK-OWNED and BIPOC-QUEER FRIENDLY space in the heart of BED-STUY exceeded my expectations even on an incredibly busy Friday evening. I initially experienced some frustration because of how busy it was and the amount of time it took to receive my drink order... but the quality of the drink quickly made up for it as well as the (2) complimentary drinks my friend and I received for the long wait.

THE CROWD: Everything I had hoped for... COLORful, INTELLECTUAL, and RELAXED. The music was on-point and my only "complaint" was the volume (a little tough to speak to the person in front of me); other than that, I had the time of my life and fully-intend on coming back.

THE FOOD: A bit on the pricier side, but they got creative with the Charcuterie board, so kudos!

OVERALL RATING: 5 out of 5 because not only is it great in its present form, but the staff is attentive and open to feedback which gives a positive outlook for...

Absolutely delighted with my experience at The Franklin! From the moment I walked in, the cozy and inviting ambiance set the perfect tone. The selection of wines was truly impressive, and the knowledgeable staff guided me towards the most exquisite choices. The attention to detail, impeccable service, and a relaxing atmosphere made it an unforgettable evening. This wine bar is a true gem for any wine enthusiast or anyone looking to indulge in a cool but sophisticated outing. The chicken confit was a culinary masterpiece - tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Paired with the fingerling potatoes that were crispy on the outside and irresistibly creamy on the inside, this dish elevated my dining experience. The wine bar's commitment to excellence is evident in every aspect, from their carefully curated wine list to their delectable food offerings. A visit here promises an amazing and...

This place is amazing. The ambiance, the setting and the most of all the people. I was there with a group of ladies on a Sunday. Raab made us amazing drinks and Demetrius was super attentive and welcoming. They made us feel good about spending our money there and were happy to answer our questions about wine and food options. During our conversation, we made suggestions for a sweet Lambrusco and more protein rich food options (I can drink more if I eat more). They were happy to hear our suggestions. They also made me laugh a lot during the conversation (I didn't expect that but i'm thanKful lol). The music that was playing perfectly transitioned and became upbeat as its became night. The crowd was diverse and had a good vibe. I live locally and will be back. For the amazing drinks, but even more for the people...
