This gem of a restaurant is just around the block from my apartment, and despite passing by its unassuming exterior dozens of time since moving to Brooklyn, I never walked in to give it a try. I am kicking myself now, because I have been missing out on some of the most authentic and delicious Indian food that I've ever eaten.
It was a good sign from the very beginning when everything on the menu looked like something I wanted to try. My friend and I decided on the poori with chickpeas bengali style for appetizer and the classic chicken tikka masala and the beef karahi for entrees based on the recommendation of the friendly waiter. The food came piping hot, aesthetically great looking, and turned out to be just as tasty as they appeared. The garlic naan that complemented the meal was also an excellent highlight;a simple dish done right. The main takeaway was how authentic everything tasted--the chefs really know their craft here.

I highly recommend that you give this place a visit--the atmosphere was chill, friendly, and in my opinion, the food seemed to be best enjoyed straight out of the kitchen. I definitely look forward to future visits to try out the rest...

Read moreBombay Grill is SO GOOD that I don't even want people to know more about this restaurant. However, since I know how great this restaurant is, I felt the need to write about it so that the restaurant gets the recognition it deserves.
It is THE BEST Indian restaurant out there in NYC, always served with a huge portion and big heart, with good quality, warm and authentic food. The menu never fails you, and from the moment you walk in, you'll know that this restaurant is authentic and good quality.
The Magi Lassi is on point👌. The best I have ever tasted. I don't even like Mango Lassi, but the Bombay Grill Mango Lassi is my soul drink. Always can't get enough of it.
