Go there every week to the MARKET STREET STORE! Fresh seafood(although I go there for the shrimp and crab legs myself)but I see people ordering bushels of crabs everytime I'm there. They have parking in case you're wondering and this one serves fries and other foods. I have had their sweet potato fries. So good with a little salt on them. The only problem I have is that they close way too early. 5pm!! So if you have a taste for seafood, you have to get there before 5. I do think that's the closing time everyday unless I'm mistaken. If I am, my apologies. Either way, that in itself doesn't stop me. Oh yeah, you know how other fish markets allow you to doctor your food with putting garlic butter or reg. butter....they don't. If you want butter, it'll cost you - $3. It comes in a small container. ALSO, please note: Miller Street has NO PARKING WHATSOEVER and NO FRIED FOODS to order. Found that out when we went there. Only MARKET STREET Franchise HAS FRIED FOODS AND PARKING. So just know that going in. Hope this...
Read moreThis is probably the first time I ever gave a one star rating. We drove over an hour and arrived a half hour before opening. We intended to order a half bushel of large male crabs, but were told they had no large. So we ordered medium males. When we got home we discovered a 70/30 mix of females and males, respectively. Not only were they mixed, they were small. I used my small hand as a gauge in the pics. They had hardly any meat inside. And some were empty. Also, most of them had no claws. Eating them was all work, very little reward. They were definitely not worth $125. If we hadn’t been there before I’d have given them 2 stars. But we’ve been there multiple times in the past 3 years. They’d always had large, meaty crabs. Somehow they stopped caring about their customers. They thought we wouldn’t know the difference between male and female, nor would we know medium and small. This was very dishonest. Save your generic apology, Crab Palace. We...
Read moreSo this place is not exactly in the greatest neighborhood, not exactly the cleanest place in the world either.. there is an extreme fish smell, but it's to be expected since they are steaming crabs and clams and shrimp there was a average selection of frozen crab legs fresh clams and frozen shrimp their prices work 10 times of what the norm is.. $40 a pound for snow crab clusters is a little bit ridiculous and I don't even want to begin to tell you how expensive the king crab was, and what was even more disappointing was that they look like miniature tiny teeny weeny little claws and lakes I don't know how they were legally harvested being that small... For the most part the staff seemed like they were nice people's... The place was very busy and I was very surprised of the amount of people that were there spending the crazy amount of money on stuff that could have definitely gotten cheaper from Costco and definitely better quality and...
