Went into the store yesterday rushing before work, I asked for a small tea light and sweet. When I got to work I noticed the lady gave me a coffee that I do not drink. The next day I go into the store with my kids, I tell the manager there (she wouldn’t give me her name) the situation that occurred the previous day. Her exact response to me was, “Well baby that was the afternoon, this is morning time” . I said ok, continued giving my order (beings tho I’m ordering other things, and I ask them to add the tea to the order) the manager goes to the register and start removing things off my order (once again messing my order up). I told her I want what she was removing and for future references she should Inform her associates about people drinking Tea with milk and cream. She deflected and her exact response to me was, “Do I think it’s appropriate to have weed in my hand.” 1. Weed is legal. 2. Instead of taking feedback from a loyal consumer, she deflected and insulted me. On top of that she did not give me and my kids our food. I am a manager as well and a loyal customer to Dunkin Donuts. I’ve never had a rude experience such as this one. I asked for her name, she said, “I don’t have one”. I was there at 8:50am. The manager had long cornrows. I will be contacting the corporate office Monday morning. And I will NEVER buy Dunkin...

professionalism, patience, and a “people-first” attitude
Professionalism, refers to the attitude you take towards your customers. Even when a customer is upset or behaving immaturely, it’s up to you to diffuse the situation, if possible, and do what you can to represent your brand in a positive light.
Patience, means remembering that every customer is different. Even though there are obviously some common “do”s and “don’t”s, each customer learns at a different pace and may respond to a common practice in a way you didn’t expect. Consequently, providing high-quality service means being creative and flexible.
People-first attitude, builds off of professionalism and patience. With this attitude in mind, your customer service strategy should reinforce the idea of human connection. In other words, exceptional service means remembering that, even though cash is changing hands, the money isn’t the most important part of the transaction. It’s the relationship you make with the customer.
I already reached out to corporate office about the matter and received my refund for my online order. But, on a business level this should've never happened 🙄. Especially from a manager on duty.

Read moreDunkin donuts on Lyons avenue was horrible it takes over 15 minutes to get one item and there were three people in line before me that were returning their items.their coffee wasn't right, their iced coffee wasn't right etc. I returned my frozen chocolate it was more like chocolate milk when she made me another one it was like a milkshake but not a frozen chocolate drink. Another gripe which is actually a health issue is everyone there was not wearing a hairnet there was hair all over the place all on top of the head down to the shoulders etc..a hair net should have been worn around food. another thing when certain employees messed up an order there was a lot of profanity used in retaliation. In addition to that the young lady at the cash register did not give the correct change back and the customer had to tell her how much money she was owed. So the cashier pulled out her cell phone to make make sure that the customer calculation was right.smh I would not recommend this place to anyone. Go to the one in Maplewood customer satisfaction is guaranteed. I visited the Lyons ave store on 6/8/19 between...
