I’ve been dying to try this place for a while. Happened to be in the neighborhood and stopped in. First of all I was told food would be ready on 10 minutes and it ended up taking 30 when the place was completely bone dry empty. It was so empty the person working the register was sitting in the dining area enjoying a bottle of wine. Took the food home and it tasted ok…that is until I saw the supermarket barcode still on the cut up produce in my food. I didn’t order griot with a side of sticker.

The food was delicious! We had fried turkey and rice with pinto beans. The food had right amout salt and spicy. Food came out hot and fresh. The group wanted Haitian food once we landed from the airport. It was the 1st to come up during the search and close in distance. Plentiful amount to share and / or leaves for later. We ordered 10 plates for a group of 15ppl. Its more a takeout restaurant but has 4 or so tables for quick bite. Great food and service.

I see why they call this place the best Haitian restaurant in New Jersey, I’ve really been missing out lol. After a while of searching I come to conclusion that this place makes fish just how I like it. My experience was great overall from beginning to end, at the point of call in; they didn’t assume I knew how to speak creole by greeting me in creole nor did I have to wait 5 mins for them to get an English speaker. I’ve now marked this as my new spot. ❤️

Whenever I'm traveling, and I know I'm in an area that may have Haitian food, I start searching and the reviews of this place were spot on! The eatery is relatively small and there's not much seating, but my order was to go. I got two small platters, but the portions were more than enough and they were reasonably priced. I got griot with white rice and black bean sauce, and fried fish with rice and beans. Both came with, pikliz, three fried plantains and a small salad.

On to taste...my bar on whether or not Haitian food is good is based on whether or not the rice and beans can stand on their own...no sauce or meat with it, just how tasty it is solo, and my goodness it lived up to the test!!! From then on, it was like I was a kid at home again. EVERYTHING tasted amazing! Bottom line, don't miss out on this hidden gem. Thanks for a...

Mange a te gout.... I hope I spelled that correct in Creole but the food here is FANTASTIC..... I had a 4th of July event and had the food catered by this restaurant and none of my guest were disappointed. Top notch food and service. She was organized and on-time with the food. I got what I paid for and the party was a success..... The red beat potatoe salad was a hit and she put her special twist on it. The sweet plantains were delicious. The groit was bangin...The rice and beans with chicken was out of this world.... If you are looking for good Haitian Food look no further.... This is the place to go... I normally don't write reviews but I had to give props where props...

Edit 1/22 I will stop ordering from them. On multiple occasions I order fritay and it's missing the sausage. I actually started writing in the comment section for them not to forget it. Today I ordered and actually said not to forget it and guess what? They did. That's what I'm talking about when it comes to consistencies. It comes with... put it on the plate. No issues with them but this is it for me.

I gave them a try tonight. The lady on the phone was extremely pleasant and my food was there when I arrived. I tasted it in the car and it was good. I've had issues with consistency with other restaurants so I'm hoping they stay their...
