Stopped by for a late lunch last week. Not real happy overall with just this last visit during a weekday. It was not busy when I first got there so first I used the restroom and when I came out to order, nobody was at the counter, but I heard the Manager's voice (once he came out, I matched the voice with the face). Before he came out to the counter to help me, he was using the "F" word a lot, and this was within earshot of us customers (2 ladies with several small children had walked in by then) - VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, especially with children present! The manager (I think his name was Jerry or Jeremy) also seemed impatient with me since I wanted to take time to make up my mind what I wanted on it, and also on my wife's sandwich. He also kept trying to force me to add ingredients that "the sandwich comes with". I had stopped at this store in weeks prior on almost every Sunday after church earlier in November and December and the older man working there was much nicer, patiently asking me what I would like on my sandwich instead of trying to force me into what supposedly comes on a sandwich. The worst part of all, in my last visit during a weekday last week, I asked for mayonnaise, mustard and oil. When they lifted up the bottle to apply to our sandwiches, the mayo bottle had thick gobs of gooey pink and yellow sauce hanging off the bottom end of the bottle where the mayo comes out. When I got home I scraped it off - mayonaise is white, not pink and brownish. It was disgusting thinking what that gooey stuff might be and I started feeling sick while eating my sandwich when I though about how stuff was oozing off the bottom of the bottle and onto my sandwich, and how it might be a bacteria laden "soup" of old sauce residues all mixed together in that pan where they keep the sauces. All I can say is EEEWWWW! The oil bottle also had gobs of off-whitish colored goo hanging off the bottom, but thank God it did not fall on my sandwich with the oil. Next time I am not going to ask for any sauces - none of these looks or seems to be stored or kept clean and might even be unhealthy or even dangerous if that gooey stuff is lots of old sauce residues just sitting in the bottom of those pans for weeks on end.. But the ingredients, meat, cheese, bread and vegetables all seemed fresh except the tomoatoes. They were very mushy and smelled foul - I had to remove them from my sandwich. I will probably give this place a try again, but maybe on Sundays when I get better service from the older gentleman, since I will be much more picky as to what I want them to put on my sandwich...
Read moreI was there yesterday (9/2/23) with my stepfather. We took part in the promotional BYGO free via using the app. As we placed our order online (1 Philly cheesesteak w/2x mayo and 1 chicken teriyaki) and PAID for it the two "kids" working proceeded to ask me what our order was. I explained to them BOTH that I am hard of hearing and could you (the blonde girl) speak louder. She then proceeded to talk to me in a even SOFTER voice and I was like again I am hard if hearing. This second attempt by me was fruitless. Anyway they said to me that my order didn't go through and I asked how is that possible when after payment I was given a 'pick up time of 5:20pm? So AGAIN I gave them my order in person and they tell me they are completely out of mayo. As I waited patiently I then see them making my order of two footlong subs back-to-back!! The other "kid" (brunette) said its ok you can have them both (so 2 of each... no charge). WRONG!!! They tried to charge me for them as well. I said I already paid and I'm not paying again. So even AFTER confirmation of ordering AND paying for some reason their app didn't accept my food order OR payment. Bad Form, Subway!! On top of that after making a new payment we were DENIED the two extra subs we were told we would be given "for out troubles". I don't know about the rest of the staff but these two girls' ages must've been between 15 to 18 (at most) NEED to be trained... and trained AGAIN because not only did they not comply with the request if the hearing impaired but they also did not write which...

It's hard for me to choose a star rating here, because while every time I go to this subway the staff is wonderful and so is my sandwich, it seems as though very often during the lunch rush (between 11 and 1) there is only one employee working by them self!! 3 stars is my average between 5 stars for staff and food and 1 star for management.
Today I online ordered for pickup at 12:50 (25 minutes out). When I got there at almost exactly 12:50 the ONE person behind the counter apologized that she hadn't gotten to it yet, she had a shop full of people with a line at least 4 deep when I walked in. She was extremely frazzled and when I went to leave a tip in the tip jar I happily noticed that others had done the same, even though they probably had to wait a while too. She was clearly doing the best she could, I believe her name was Meghan.
On another occasion there was only one person working, and as I was waiting in line, again during rush hour, someone totally not in uniform came in, geared up and got behind the counter with her. I overheard that this person was an employee from another subway location called in at the last minute to help.
