I have a bit to unpack here. This place is a bit of a mess.
We show up around 10:00am. The hostess was friendly and seated us quickly. It took a bit (10 minutes) for anyone to get our drinks, but not a big deal, they were pretty busy. The waitresses seemed confused as to who was waiting the table (again, not a big deal, just some mild confusion). We get our drinks and they take our order. Our waitress wasn't very friendly, but kept our drinks filled. We waited another 50 minutes for our food. Our order finally comes, and they didn't have any bowls for the Southwest Bowl so they gave us a wrap instead (without saying anything to us about it, which is a bit weird... but still fine), and that the food is on the house because of how long we waited. Awesome, we highly appreciate that and tell them it's no big deal-- we weren't in a rush. But then I guess because they wrote off the tab they just kinda forgot about us. No one asked how the food was, refilled our drinks, or gave us to-go boxes.
The food was good, as to be expected, no problem there. I really do wish they would have had a bit better communication with us. I definitely would not stop here if I was looking for quick meal or had a big group. Not going to say that I'll never go back, just hopefully they can iron a few things out so that thing run more smoothly when...
Read moreBeen there three times. Every time involved a long wait of at least half an hour. Second time I went, the food was under seasoned, and the over medium eggs I got were over hard and the sausage patties were hocky pucks. Most recently, when I went, they said pick any table to sit at, but of the 10 or so tables in there, one was occupied by a worker, another had a customer at it, two had plates and food remnants that were on the floor, no less than four had dirty plates still sitting on the tables, and two were extremely wet. There was not a single decent table, so I chose the least wet option. The server came, wiped down the table, and took my drink and meal order. It took at least 15 minutes for the drink to come, which the server apologized for, and another 20 or so minutes for my actual meal to come. This time, the food was much better cooked, still a little light on salt for the scrambled eggs I got, but I tend to like more salt than the average person. The meal was tasty (Blueberry and Creamcheese French toast with sausage patties and scrambled eggs, only reason I tried again), so I may eventually come back, but unless there is something specific to huddle house that you want, I would tend to do the waffle...
Read moreHave been here 3 times since opening. The first 2 visits I have no complaints. Stopped in to grab some take out, was about 8:30pm.they were only taking cash, not a real issue. Was really hungry, we ordered got food and out the door. I didn't check bag because it wasn't busy and the girl who took my order asked me 3 times to repeat my order. 3 eggs bacon grits and toast. Also a side of hash browns and blueberry bites. My fiance also got an omelet. Was so looking forward to eating since I hadn't all day. well got home settled in and Chris got his omelet, there were blueberry bites and a container with maybe 5 or 6 bites of hash browns in there. No eggs no grits or bacon. I was livid... And to tired to go back.tried to call but kept getting a recording. So I at least tried to eat the small portion of hash browns. 2 bites and then bit into plastic wrap that was in them not on them. Done! Really would be nice to have what I paid for or my money back. I was so outdone by this, I had to leave a review. First time...
