On different occasions and different capacity I have experience the worst service ever. On the last occasion as a delivery person. I went through drive, told them the person name after research they told me to pull up. Once I got to the window the person there told me it would be 5 minutes on the chicken. I told her I had to go to another restaurant and she suggested I go there and told me it would be ready where I got back and to park in front and she would bring it to me. I asked was she sure and she assured me. I pulled to the front after getting back from the other restaurant as she suggested. I waited shortly because she was standing in the dining area with the manager in a huddle so I drove back through the drive thru. I repeated the person name and she told me to wait and after about a min she told me to pull up. I get to the window she have a conversation with someone and then she walked to the back without explanation. I blew my horn and knocked on the window and ask what was going on. The girl came back and told me to call the person of which the order was for ask did they want spicy rather than the regular they had ordered. At this point I’m mad. I waited all this time just to find out they didn’t have what was ordered. I’m on the phone with customer and the manager came from the dining area where she normally sits unless outside smoking. She came to the window talking to the cashier asking what’s the problem then turn to me to repeat the same thing the cashier had already told me.And she tend to always want to translate as though her English is better understood with a raised and aggressive tone(bullying). I told her the cashier already told me and that set her off. She started arguing with me, cursing, snapping her neck and told me not to come back to that store and wanted me to pull up so we could fight. She actually wanted to fight me. Another person came around from the front of the store in front of my vehicle as to help the manager. The manager is horrible. She always have a attitude. The store is always out of something. The store always closing early. Mobile order are start when arrive at store. What’s the purpose of ordering ahead of you still have to wait. They even stop taking order in drive thru last week because they were doing a shift change. Yes I said it A SHIFT CHANGE. This...
Read moreAvoid this store. Ordered an 8pc Family pk all dark (2/10). Cook in back was in a terrible mood and after several minutes announced they only do all white or all dark for 2pc, 3pc meals, not family. "Family meals are a whole chicken, we don't do all dark or white". Got to say that's the first time ANY chicken store has said that (KFC, Bojangles, Zaxby's, or other Popeyes, etc). The girl at the counter Tywanda tried to fill the order but grouchy cook in the back wasn't have'n it. Go to Bojangles, Zaxby's, or the Popeyes in Greenwood instead. 1-star rating for grouchy cook and the fact that an all dark and mashed potatoes with gravy on the side can't be done. Follow-up: The (new) manager at this Popeyes store called me the next morning and expressed her apologies for my bad experience and offered to replace the 8pc dark mashed potatoes with gravy on the side. I stopped back in Sunday (2/12) and she presented me with an 8pc all dark, Lg mashed potato with gravy on the side and biscuits no charge. Thank you new manager. Moral of the story: As a customer, it is always beneficial to stay calm and be hospitable. Mistakes can be made and food service workers can be grouchy. Fill out the survey on the back of the receipt or call and complain (or as to see the manager right then and there. 4-stars for new manager and her very...
Read moreWow. I'm a big fan of Popeyes who believes that "You can't go wrong with Popeyes". Everything at Popeyes SHOULD be delicious whether it's mild, spicy, bone-in or boneless if it's served with care. Very disappointed to say that's not a case in this location. Undercooked thigh looks & tastes like it's made yesterday. Extremely small portioned tenders. Server's confused how to punch in orders for a la carte menus off from the board.(This might not completely be their fault though, since majority of people order from the menu board only and I can't really blame too much on human aspects like undertrained or inexperienced employees) The problem is that this however straightly leads to overcharging. No way that this should be $11.75. Popeyes at other location charges maybe $2 per bone-in chicken a la carte. Overall this place is run very poorly. I know that Popeyes isn't like this with proper care and attention to their quality, but I'd seriously consider closing this location if I know it'll only leave negative reputation for the franchise like this. For people reading this review, Popeyes is not bad. But just not this location -go somewhere else-, they need a whole new training on how to serve...
