Okay, so this is a McDonald's and the expectations should be adjusted accordingly, BUT...
I'm not getting or liking the renovation. The old school look was nice. This look, I just don't get. It's not inviting, it's just different for the purpose of being different.
Service here is iffy. I'm not liking the self service kiosks but I understand that the desire of employees trying to make a career out of McDonald's and demanding higher pay has forced it. Still not liking it. Come on the right day and time and the service is quick and friendly but at other times, not so much.
The drive thru is where this location really fails. It has a double drive through but many employees seem to be either unable to deal with it or are just totally unaware of it. Pick the wrong lane and you'll never get waited on. Truly, it's a management failure. This location would benefit from mystery shoppers.
I'm also not a fan of the entrance on east-bound East Robbins Ave. Although it's clearly marked "No Left Turn" on the west-bound lane, and although the local police ticket frequently for illegal left turns, the illegal left turns happen all the time. They ran out of medium coffee cups so when I ordered my regular medium coffee they automatically charged me for a large because "they ran out of medium cups" so I asked her to then dump coffee out and still charge me for what I ordered. She said they can't do that because in they only had small and large cups...so then I asked to dump even more and charge me for a small and she then said "no, we don't sell medium coffees" which is a lie bc for the past 15 years I get my medium coffee on my way to work...so the she proceeded to tell me no with a condescending tone. Isabella clearly doesn't care about customers and even worse for the company, she doesn’t care about the company. Her attitude is going to cause loyal customers like myself to not return and do business with McDonald's anymore. It is not the customer's fault amd reason to pay more because whomever did inventory did not do their due diligence by ordering more medium cups. I placed a $25 order online, upon arriving to the restaurant i pulled into drive-thru and went back and forth trying to give them the code only to be told I was at the wrong restaurant. I pulled into a parking spot embarrassed of what I thought was my error only to confirm I was in fact rt the correct address. I go thru same drive-thru with a receipt pulled up but got nowhere. After 30 min of charades, I decided to go inside to better handle the situation or just place a new order at this point but after spending 15 min in line while watching paid customers getting furious by the minute due to the extreme wait and the "excuse me" being completely ignored I decided to cut my loses and save my sanity.....if you are looking for a fast food place this is NOT THE MCDONALD'S YOU ARE SEARCHING FOR, STAY AWAY AND GO TO THE...
