We were warmly greeted upon our arrival. We asked for suggestions and were informed of the most popular items on the menu: teriyaki chicken with noodles and spicy beef with noodles. We also ordered fried pork buns. Oh. My. Gosh. This is one of the most delicious meals I've EVER had...SERIOUSLY! The noodles are amazing. They were firm and chewy and perfect and WOW! The spicy sauce with the beef was flavorfully spicy, but I don't have the highest tolerance for heat (yet I finished my plate). The teriyaki sauce was the perfect amount of tangy and sweet. And the pork buns? Holy moly! The bread was sweet while the pork was such a perfect savory. I can't say enough about this meal. It was absolutely delicious. You HAVE to give it a try. More importantly, everyone asked if we enjoyed it and seemed genuinely happy that we did. What a great,...

I was so happy to find this authentic, awesome noodle shop in a random town! I came here with a friend for dinner on the way to Vermont for skiing, and I wanted the big plate chicken but they ran out of that already. I ended up getting pork noodles and I asked for extra spicy sauce, which the lady running the shop happily gave me. It was delicious. The noodles were perfectly chewy, and the sauce was spicy and a bit sour. I loved it. My friend got lamb soup with bread, and the lamb soup was super flavorful and the bread was so chewy. He had to peel the bread himself, but that was good because he could peel it however big or small. The prices are fair too; mine came out to be $10.53 post-tax. The place is small but there's a decent amount of seating, and the lady who owns the shop is super friendly too. I was so impressed by this place;...

So I tried both Xian Famous Food in NYC, the one that made multiple headlines and hyped up to be amazing and this small restaurant Xian Noodle Factory in CT that I never heard about. I can tell you this one here in CT makes the Xian Famous Food look sad. From the first bite the flavor of the noodles explodes in your mouth. Xian Noodle Factory’s noodles are like fluffy clouds slightly kissed by a dragon - perfectly al dente with a delightful chew that soaks up every drop of rich, complex sauces. The flavor is immaculate. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients in every mouthful. It is clear that this place is way more authentic and the noodles seem to be hand made out of love. I will be coming back with my friends again. This place is amazing and not many people know about it yet. Beef Cumin Noodle and Crispy Chinese Lamb Burger was...

A hole in the restaurant that's family owned but serving up delicious authentic Xian cuisine. Family owned from the core and not very well advertised with odd hours but the food cannot be beaten. The knife cut noodles made from scratch to order was one of the best things I've eaten without flying to China to eat it and reminds me of the local cusine in China. Prepare to be transported back to China as even the storefront is very similar to that of China with small amount of seating up front. Food came out extremely quickly and it thankfully wasn't too crowded. Check out this place as it's one of the most underrated restaurants currently in the Hartford area.
