I go here as often as i am able for bite to eat between my commute from newington to hartford. 4.99 grinder and drink. A deal that can't be beat. These are wide, thick handmade sandwiches. Deliciousness in every bite. But more than that, this little shop is chocked full of delightful goodies. Imported coffees, chocolates, snacks and sodas as well as various preserves. My fave is the Choco Neopolitanke~

Travellers, this is a fantastic store filled with a wide variety of delicious and hard to find Mediterranean specialty foods. There are giant jars of all sorts of olives and pickles vegetables of all kinds, cheeses, dried and cured meats, oils, cookies, pastries, frozen foods, pastas, candy, jellies, jams, preserves, and sauces. Great location for those hard to find items. They carry various Mediterranean items from Greece, Portugal, Rússia among others. Owners are great and will order what you need too.
