Horrible establishment. This was my experience. My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant to watch the basketball game sat at the bar and ordered two rounds of drinks and two appetizers and a entree our bill was 77.00. We were treated so badly because we were there for two hours watching the game so we originally thought was the reason for the looks and rudeness we were being pressured to leave by our waitress, so we placed another order so it wouldn't appear we were taking up space without ordering after placing the order and feeling so Un welcomed I walked to the chef manager and asked if it was a problem we were there so long and the game was just about to end, and let him know we ordered more food, after being spoken to Rudely by the manager I just asked him to cancel the order and we didn't feel welcomed. He replied well of course the server upset u guys have been here for 2 hours, I replied there are three tables not being used and no line so I didn't see it to be a problem, he informed me that their were reservations and Rudley ask me what do you want me to do how would you like me to handle this? I said well I am the customer and you are the manager why are you asking me? I was very calm and thought I would let the manager know about our treatment with hope he would say that's ok sorry you feel this way I will make sure your order is delivered by someone else, instead he followed me back to my table and directly spoke w my boyfriend telling him I was combative and my boyfriend told him he is in law enforcement and in no way was I combative and the the manager said maybe this isn't the place for you guys!!!! I couldn't believe we were being told that this "wasn't the place for us" we felt discriminated against by this establishment their food is less than par and not worth it, and service was horrible. The bartenders were great though and we made it a point to walk up and let the bartenders know we enjoyed the drinks even though one has to be re made. my boyfriend is African American a law enforcement that serves and protects our community I work as a consultant for fine dining establishments in Orange County I have never written a negative Yelp review in my life. I felt so discriminated against as a female when I complained he dismissed me and would speak only to my boyfriend as if I didn't EXSIST and made me feel my feeling didn't matter instead indicated I was combative, I don't think he really knew the meaning of the word I was so shocked with how we were treated we paid our bill in full, and left!!!! Just want the public to know when u dine and spend your money at this establishment just know you supporting An establishment who is racist and discriminates against women. I know this is harsh but I am being 100% truthful and never complained in my life. The chef manager name is Julio Hawkins. And the waitress starts w a "S" Sydney I think, or something close to that brown...

Read moreThe hostess was accommodating and we were greeted in a friendly way. They do not allow strollers so we had to leave ours in the doorway. Once seated it took nearly 15 minutes for someone to come by for our drinks order. They also informed us there is no changing table in their bathroom. I ordered a margarita on the rocks. It was 95% ice with barely 1 oz of liquid. I that was $10.
After our drinks came it took another 10 minutes before I got up to stop out server face-to-face to order a dozen oysters. They have a selection of 3 kinds. I picked my two favorite and asked for 1/2 and 1/2. The oysters were lazily shucked and had lots of shell splinters in them. It wasn't just us either, I saw others pulling bits of shell out after eating an oyster.
We ordered the fish and chips. When it arrived it looked good but one bite told a different story. The batter wasn't fully cooked and some of the fish was raw. The busser came by asking if he could clear my plate and it wasn't worth making a scene so I just nodded yes. It's not like I wanted more mediocre food from this place.
The whole meal was more than $80 for the two of us. The oysters were $40 a dozen and the cold, slimy fish sticks were $22.
But you go to a place like this to be near the ocean and if you're one of the lucky 2 tables with an ocean view it might be worth it if you just order $7 beers.
Thumbs down and disappointed. We were looking forward to oysters and some...
