19th street goes from the ocean to the bay. About 200 yards across the peninsula. Well kept and safe as all of Newport Beach is. Tons to do with the pier area next to the ocean side beach and Marina park next to the bay side beach. This is were I go every morning.. 19th street dock Newport Beach to work. I get in a skiff shoot out to the middle of the harbor hop on a pontoon boat " Harbor Hose " ( yeah I know ) we wash boats on moorings with fresh water or on your dock, detail cleaning ,paint,sand,varnish we do it all except the bottom of boats . I meet alot of people on this dock from super friendly, cool...

My four year old daughter loves going to the beach, but is afraid of waves. This beach is within the port, so it is quiet doesn’t have waves, is very clean, and is less than a minute walk from Marina Park. It was our first time coming here, but we will certainly be back.
