Too Sweet — Restaurant in Newport Beach

We went here while staying in Newport at the recommendation of family. We looked at the lines at the other balboa bar places and were so glad we came here! It was amazing. The chocolate is sooo much better than normal balboa bars. They have chocolate ice cream as an option. They are very generous with toppings. The chocolate doesn’t crack and fall off within a bite or two. You can get dark chocolate if you want it. My whole family thought they were the best balboa bars we’ve ever had since coming to that area for over 20 years! It’s also nice they have frozen yogurt for those who prefer that....

Last night my family and I went to this place in the evening. We were in Líne First. Then another 2 ppl got in line in back of us .The male cashier there saw we were there. He never welcomed us or said a word but to the other ladies that walked in he did. even the lady asked him. Weren't they in line First. And he said its ok. how can I help you. I felt discriminated because we where Hispanic. So my family and I just walked out. It was very humiliating and sad that he didn't even bother to greet us and skip us like if we weren't humans too. I will never ever go back...

I have been visiting and now living on the island for over 55 years. As a kid the other two place for Bars and Bananas were the only choices. Too Sweet has by far the best chocolate dipped items. They use REAL chocolate - the others do not. Too Sweet is also connected to Tutti Frutti for frozen yogurt.
