Normally BEFORE until up to not even 20 minutes ago I would give them more than 1 star & recommend them, BUT NOT ANY MORE!!!! LET ME EXPLAIN WHY & I AM SO ABSOLUTELY VERY UPSET: They have had my business for quite a few years now. I would place a delivery order with them at least once a week , sometimes twice every week. I even made them my home made "Cookies from scratch" at Christmas time, ALONG with a Christmas Card & Sent them with the Delivery driver to give to the owners when the driver returned back to Riverside......Well let me tell you what happen this evening & WHY I AM SO DISAPPOINTED UPSET.. I called to place a order to be delivered. When they asked the address for the delivery. I told them & they proceeded to tell me they were no longer delivering to that street. When I asked them WHY, the person on the phone kept repeating that they just were not delivering anymore to that street. I told the person on the phone that I wanted to speak to one of the owners. The MALE owner got on the phone & I asked him "WHY". All the MALE owner would say is that they were not delivering to our address & Continued to ask him "WHY" and all he would say they just were no longer delivering to our addressYet STILL NO REASON. After I hung up my HUSBAND called Riverside from his Cell & asked to speak to the owner. The MALE OWNER of RIVERSIDE got on the phone, so my HUSBAND asked him "WHY" they were not delivering to our address anymore. The "REASON" the MALE OWNER of RIVERSIDE gave MY HUSBAND is "We don't tip or don't tip enough" was the exact words of the MALE OWNER of RIVERSIDE... I AM SORRY BUT THAT IS NOT A GOOD ENOUGH REASON RIVERSIDE. ESPECIALLY FROM A CONTINUED CUSTOMER & THE HUGE AMOUNT OF BUSINESS YOU HAVE GOTTEN FROM US. IT IS NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL WITH THE REASON YOU CHOSE NOT TO DELIVER TO OUR ADDRESS ANYMORE. YOU SHOULD REALIZE THAT IN THIS ECONOMY. YOUR CUSTOMERS CAN ONLY TIP WHEN THEY ARE ABLE TO , SOME TIMES THEY CAN NOT TIP AT ALL. Not long after moving to this area 14 years ago I got a 'plate' (aluminum takeout dish) of spaghetti at Riverside Pizza. Worst sauce, EVER. Fast forward to now: I take a chance after all these years and try their spaghetti again. (After all, they do make a halfway decent Italian sub.) They topped themselves. I first tried ordering just spaghetti with meat sauce, but they only do a marinara (I assume they think that is what it is...more on that momentarily.), or with meat balls. I got the dish with meatballs. I wish I had taken a photo of what I attempted to choke down. It came again in the aluminum takeout dish. The spaghetti could hardly be seen under a layer of some sort of melted cheese. (Sorry, but that right there isn't a classic spaghetti dish, it's just some sort of baked spaghetti crap.) I start pushing the cheese away to reveal the spaghetti, and what is this? Liquid? Yep, their sauce is more like tomato juice. I tilted the dish and poured out ounces of tomato juice on the paper plate beneath the dish. Flavor? Hardly any. The meatballs? 4 of them smaller than ping pong balls, also with hardly any flavor. The first time my husband and I went, we ordered a pizza. The pizza was really good, but we waited over 30 minutes to get it and we were the only people there. We tried it again a couple months later. Ordered a pizza and some wings that were on special. The basket of "wings" was like 30% chicken 70% fried breading. Most of the tiny pieces didn't even have meat. Our pizza came out almost 30 minutes after we ordered AGAIN, so apparently that's standard for a pizza there. I had two hairs on my pizza. The first one I pulled off and tried to get over it. When I found the second one I was done. They remade us the pizza (took a long time) but I didn't have much of an appetite. We haven't been back. I was talking to someone the other day about Riverside and they said they recently had a bad experience, that their pasta was bad and they had a hair in their food as well. None of the ladies had their hair up when we went so I'm guessing...
