Dick's Cafe — Restaurant in Newton

I was up early and didn't get my breakfast at the house so after I finished my business and heading back home my stomach was speaking to like the plant on little shop of horror lol feed me.....if you ever listen to yourself and no that doesn't make you crazy.....and if it does I'm not claiming it lol so I road pass this place several times coming and going but today the voice of my stomach and the smell from this place was having a conversation about meeting up to see what's good and my feet and hand went on by themselves.... And fyi never argue with your stomach one you will lose and two...yeah you will look crazy to all that see you...so use your inside voice but I walked found a seat and scanned the menu..and yes lawd yes..country cooking at its finest the waiting staff was great and no need to rub it in...well just this once the food was cooked like it tasted...mmmmm so nostalgia kicked in and I was almost waiting for my mom to come from the back and tell me to say grace first because I dove into that plate as if my lips and fork missed each other whenever the fork left after delivering the goods lol well I hope that you get to stop in and see the small place with the good smell's. A Grrrreat Hometown Newton Atmosphere !!

GRRREAT SERVICE TEAM & STAFF that kept our coffee cups filled with java.

A GRRREAT GRILL CREW that made an omelette with lots of everything in it (& jalapenos) that was toooo massive for me to finish. *Hand Whipped & NOT ONE OF THOSE milkshake machine blended air-filled gastronomic atrocities with the tasteless texture of an old sponge.

Well if they wanted me to make a change and make this a place I was going to eat breakfast here, they were way off the mark. I was there the other morning and was watching the plates go out and I thought I was going to make a change and start getting take out plates to keep from cooking. Well the eggs were ok the home fries were burnt and hardly any there liver mush was burnt and the toast was too and way to much butter. I wasn’t cheap either I left a $5 tip. Thanks but no thanks ladies I’ll cook my own...
