Druber's Daylight Donut Shop — Restaurant in Newton

Was employed with the third owner of this store from 10/18/2017-12/25/2017. The scheduled shifts were CONSTANTLY changing, and I was late several times because I couldn't keep track of the days as they changed so frequently.video would be moved from working 6am-noon to 11pm-5am with less than a days notice, and if i protested the change, I would be let go. My first trainer, Lina (senior) would physically slap me (arms, back, hands) if I got something wrong, and both she and the owner would verbally abuse and humiliate me (even in front of customers). I was never allowed to see my "tax papers" even though I asked multiple times. I was forbid to use the wall punch for our time sheets, I was required to handwrite them.. I was almost never paid what my time sheet would reflect (ex. Net pay -$145, what i got-$102) Lina (jr &st) pocketed all of the tips for my night shifts. (worked only by me) for the first five shifts....Now to top it all off, Phillip has been contacted by phone and in person several timwsand is refusing to give me my w2, even once ontodays phone call having his wife prompt the clerks to start exclaiming "She only worked here a few days! " (I could hear Phillips instructions when he spoke them) Additional problems -the cleanliness of the store is non existent. --Fridge in lobby never defrosted. --No cleanser/sanitizer to clean tables, santintize dishes, or disinfect counters and other surfaces. --tea burns rarely stored over the closed hours, so spoiled tea is served routinely --the jelly/custard filling containers are never emptied or washed. --Phillip makes you reuse the same pair of disposable gloves the whole shift --the handwashing sink is filthy and the front one is out of order -pop fountain dispensers never cleaned --phillips personal dishes done. n the store --temps are not logged --the icing is scraped from tables and racks and put back into the vat to be reused. --day old donut are never disposed of --cold food that needs storage for the store and phillips home are in the same appliances. (Muffin battery stored next to raw seafood) -womens restroom out of order for a month due to refusal to have it fixed. -Pricing is not as posted, --Lina Sr charges different customers, different prices, for the same product. (not because of any senior/child discount) just based on what she feels like saying. --lina and Phillip charge each item different...

Gave this place two tries. The first time we went, we got old and stale croissant Hot dogs But the donuts were good. The second time we showed up at their advertised open hours. We could see workers inside but door was locked and although seeing us no one opened. So I called to double check the hours and was told that they did not have any donuts made. Drove across town to the other donut shop. I moss the old druners, new owners just don't love it like the...

The donuts are amazing. The breakfast burrito I had was so delicious and one time I was in there and I had breakfast. Very very good and the price was awesome. They really do a good job here they work very very hard. I was in there at 4:30 in the morning And the people from the railroad we’re just filing in order and donuts and coffee.
