I've been a frequent shopper at etc for over 2 years. BUT recently the prices have gotten absolutely ridiculous I noticed myself veering away from going there very casually, unless I'm looking for something specific. It's as if whoever's pricing it sees the designer name and immediately throws a ridiculous high. price on it. I've donated things to Exedra. A month later I see the item on the shelf and can't even afford to pay for it's high price when I was the one that donated it for free. I've had conversations with multiple other people that have shopped there for years that don't go in there anymore because of the prices. They're like me I would rather just get it new and spend a couple more dollars or even the same price. Stop selling used merchandise for new prices. Other than that the customer service is always...
Read moreIt is hard for me to leave this review, because I love all the volunteers that work there, but prices are ridiculous now. Example a tiny keychain that my daughter wanted for her book bag that probably came out of a quarter machine was $2.00. We were able to get almost the exact same thing, but brand new for .99 cents at dollar general. I hope you can rethink some of your prices especially for the less fortunate customers. There is a Facebook post that has over 200 hundred comments on how upset ppl are. I've also heard of many ppl not wanting to donate anymore...

Which for a “thrift” store is very disappointing. You shouldn’t rob Peter to pay Paul. I’ll probably go there once in a while, but due to the increased prices I won’t be able to shop there on a regular basis like I used to. I’ve heard MANY complaints of people in the town of Newton lately. They don’t help you bag anything either; they just stand there and stare at you. Since Covid is over, Not sure why they can’t help bag and move the line along. Just...
