I ordered the double bacon steak burger meal. When I got it, it looked NOTHING like the photo on the menu that had me earing with delight with my eyes. I thought a mistake was made so I went back up to the order window and asked if this was the correct order. 3 young kids all came up, and asked me my order number. I told them #136. (See photo of receipt) they asked me to open the burger and I did. They then told me it was correct. I nicely said, "This is really bad if it is really the burger I ordered. I went and set back down, took a bite and my first bite was crunchy. That was also the last bite. The meat was cooked so fast that it was crispy on the outside. Never have I ever had this happen at a freddy's My fries were good, my wife's burger didn't have tomatoes that she asked for and did have onions that she asked to have removed while ordering. She didn't want to say anything though cause of the answer I got. Our fries were good, my wife ate half of her burger. I just don't get nowadays more at many restaurants. It seems that the largest problems we have at restaurants nowadays happen due to people not caring about what food should taste like, and in this case, look like or even be accurate. Were does quality even matter any longer? I do have to say, the restaurant was clean, bathrooms clean and stocked. It starts with training, Managment, and over...
Read moreWe went for dinner on opening day in Newton, KS and ended up with a damaged vehicle. Freddy’s attempted to coordinate the traffic, but their negligence with the situation caused us to be in an accident. No one from Freddy’s even acknowledged they played a part in The accident. They knew they were going to be busy on opening day, but the lack of preparation/training caused my family to be in danger. Along with negligence in directing traffic, there weren’t any drive thru/parking lot signs up yet indicating where people should go. I always see posts about doing it the Freddy’s Way and in this case that could be further from the truth. We ended up getting food to go and asked for their signature Freddy’s sauce. Got home to a bag of food with no Freddy’s sauce. Damaged car and no Freddy’s sauce! Very disappointed with the customer service!
Legal issues aside, it doesn’t seem right that I’m the one responsible for paying for their error. Talked to the regional manager Les and he wasn’t any help so I’ll probably be making a trip to the Wichita HQ to get this sorted out. I wouldn’t have an issue with this if someone from Freddy’s would have just acknowledged their part in the accident and offered a simple what can...
Read moreCorporate needs to look into these Supervisors Management Skills at this location. At this location most of these employees are first time job workers, there’s a lot of standing around chatting and not learning responsibilities of a job. When a employee doesn’t know something or was shown a different way by another Supervisor it doesn’t give the right of another Supervisor to show their anger by throwing things because it wasn’t their way of doing job at task or yelling at employees in front of customers. You treat your employees with respect and communicate to them with respect no matter what age or how experienced they are. I’ve been in upper management for over 30yrs and my view is you help your employees help you, teach them the skills to help you, and respect them and in turn they will respect you...
