DO NOT USE YOUR CREDIT CARD @ THIS LOCATION! I swiped my card at the stall from my car and it said it didn't go through & to use a different card, so I swiped my card again and it said thank you & your order will be out soon. The carhop comes out and hands me my food and tells me to pay. I told her that I've already paid after I placed my order. I pull up my credit card transactions on the Bank website and it showed that I was charged TWICE for the food. She goes and gets another lady and she argues with me that it didn't go through and I show her that I was charged TWICE already. By now I'm sick of sitting here arguing with them. I give her my card and she goes inside and swipes it again for the THIRD time. She brings my card back out and says that the other 2 times my card was charged would clear out and that I would only be charged ONE time. Well here it its a week later and it still showing that I paid for the food 3 times. My credit card company emailed me about the discrepancies and asked if I wanted to dispute the fraudulent charges! I shouldn't have been charged 3 dang times in the first place. I don't know if this is some sort of scam this Sonic location is trying to pull but it's definitely SKETCHY! Don't even waste your time eating here! I'm not rich by any means and I work very hard for what I have and I definitely don't want to be scammed by sonic or their employees! Read moreSonic has gone down the drain over the last few years. This morning I only had a simple question and have been calling for 20 minutes now (9a.m.) and still no answer. Last few times I've been there they took well over 30 minutes for our order to come out and that's after it took super long for them to take our order, my boyfriend had to step out the truck to go to the booth beside us and try and order since we thought it was another broken stall we were trying to order from. The kids (young adults) on the inside were chatting amongst one another and only 2 ppl were bringing out orders. It's been 10 years since I've worked at this store in Newton and I now travel 20 minutes to Forest just for better service and wait time. Do yourself a favor save your money and gas up because this one will make your blood boil just by the experience. The owner should knock it down and the city of Newton should find better use...
