Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Newton

Stopped in last Sat about 12:15 with a friend for the $14? buffet lunch that runs from 1130 to 1:00. He was more interested in the pizza while my main interest is usually the salad bar. We paid and then looked over the buffet and there was 1 medium thin crust cheese pizza with nothing else on it and one medium thin crust pizza with some bacon bits and pepperoni as I recall, but not very evenly distributed, most of it haphazardly tossed on one side. They looked more like frozen grocery store pizzas than anything. They had clearly been out since 1130. My friend asked the young lady at the counter if more would be coming out as he is a pretty hearty eater and she said the Manager's instruction was not to as we were the only ones there and likely not anyone else coming in. (Someone else had just left) There was also no marinara sauce out for the bread sticks on the buffet. It was obvious to her we were displeased but we made no more fuss about it. After we got a plate of food the young lady came with our drinks and also some cups of marinara sauce for us and told us some more fresh pizza would come out. So obviously something happened in the interval and kudos to the young lady for taking care of it for us! She was very pleasant and polite as well. (We never saw the manager). Salad bar was only one kind of greens (Romaine, I think) and the usual other items that come from a bag typical of a place like pizza hut. It was just okay and I didn't get sick as I have from unclean salad bars before, so can't complain too much. Certainly not much of a good value for the price, but not a lot of good restaurant options around Newton, so .... it is what it...

I gave this 5 stars so it would get seen. I would give it 1 star just because the doors are open and they do make food still.

This use to be a great place to grab a pizza. However in the last 2 months the food has gotten bad. (5/1/24-7/11/24) I think they must have hired a new cook and it’s one that just don’t take any pride whatsoever in what they are doing. I gave them three chances after being a customer there for years because I know anyone can have a bad day but three separate orders a few weeks apart were terrible. Dried out wings that had been cooked for probably 8 hours or longer before they were served with only a tablespoon of buffalo sauce on the whole order, pizza with barley any toppings on it at all, soggy crust, or either super greasy to the point it makes you nauseous to even try to eat the pizza. I like cold pizza but I don’t want it cold when I buy it. Anyway maybe someone will see this and save some money or someone will see this and correct the problem so we can all enjoy...

Probably the worst Pizza Hut I've ever been to and my 39 years of life it's not the servers fault its a real poor location and its just tired the whole store is just very tired. the poor girl 1 server work the whole entire floor by herself and she had to clean up and bluss the tables by herself I ended up getting her $10 on tip just because she was working so hard and I feel bad for her. I have been to Pizza Hut restaurants across this country and I know what they're supposed to do and how they're supposed to do it that's why I come back but this place just took the cake I didn't even want to continue eating there because every table was so dirty because they only have one server for the entire floor this place needs to die it needs to be put out of its misery and that's why I'm telling everyone not to come back to this place again maybe it's just a bad time of day but the day that I showed up the times I showed up 2 o'clock p.m. this place looks like its on...
