The Cookie Monstah — Restaurant in Newton

This one here I plan on staying away from seems to be sneaky, for the 3rd time Im charged separately for the two cookies and ice cream sandwich and coincidentally they are always seemly confused and oops sorry but there's nothing I can do.. because they are young I would ignore it and still tip now I believe it may be part of their business plan.. play stupid and overcharge.. was charge 13 dollars again instead of 7.50 not to mention is posted 7.50 but as soon as you order it they charge you 7.90 and know that doesn't include the tax yet. And it's not the money, my wife and I go to the one in Needham no problem but here it sneaky and takes advantage of ppl I find it to be a disgusting practice.. pretend to be oblivious push it the charge through and then go oops nothing I can do sorry this is...

I'm a huge fan of The Cookie Monstah's Burlington location, but I was pretty disappointed by the new Newton one. First, the Google maps location is not accurate. The store is accessible from the parking lot near the rear entrance of the CVS.

I always get the gluten free chocolate chunk cookies, which are always delicious, soft, and gooey, at the Burlington location. The cookies I was served were rock hard and crumbly to the point where they were hard to eat.

I was also pretty disappointed that when asking for a cookie sandwich with the ice cream in a cup, I was charged $5 extra due to the cup of ice cream and two cookies being rung up separately!

I know it's a new location so I hope this is useful feedback. I hope to come back when some of the kinks...

Consistently good cookies, but writing about the customer service.

Went in and got a half dozen today, (only one person in front, so had to wait a bit, but no big deal), but got home and realized there were only 5 cookies in the box.

I didn’t have the time to go back, but called the store. A lovely woman - who I’m guessing is the owner or manager - was immediately apologetic and refunded my entire order! I was expecting maybe deduct the cost of the single cookie, but a full refund? In this...
