Rule Camera — Local services in Newton

This place is amazing! I wish we had the likes of this in Denver! This summer I was shooting a conference in Boston. I had my first on site disaster resulting in a broken lens. I texted my assistant in Denver to line up a replacement rental ASAP. Rule was super helpful and accomodating and had exactly what I needed at a very reasonable rental price. They made the pick up and drop off super seamless. Service was friendly and empathetic. AND they didn't nickel and dime me over an extra hour or two which was super helpful and stress-reducing, as when I dropped it off, I was trying to check out of my hotel, arrange a ride to Rule and then the airport. Probably the best production rental in the area. The people here are very sweet and warm. The other day , I rented some equipment from them and had a few questions. Alex lopez went above and beyond to make sure all my questiosn were answered. Also, when i left the store I forgot to collect all the stuff i ordered and they called me while I was on my way back to le tme know that i forgot some of my stuff but I already came a long way by then, but BRyan stayed back AFTER HOURS for me untill I come back to Rule and get all the stuff I need. Not the best rental experience. I used them as a college student but as a professional I wouldn’t return after my latest experience. I’d say they were decent for the last minute needs of our shoot. I would venture to NYC for a larger rental house if I were to bring another production to Massachusetts.
