Stopped in today after drooling over their sandwich pictures for weeks. OH MY WAS IT WORTH THE WAIT!! The line was long but moved so quickly. We ordered Me the Mama Mia, hubs a sandwich he put together with their offerings. We waited elbow to elbow with other happy customers for maybe 10-15m then like a sweet song through the crowd I heard my name and our ordered was ready! We made our way to the car and as I opened the bag the most wonderful smell hit me, the smell of fresh bread, herbs, dressing and now I drooled over the actual sandwich not just a picture! As I unwrapped my hero the paper was damp with dressing it was then I knew I was in for a treat not a dry sandwich. Bite after bite my mouth was filled with fresh flavors. Now remember I said they were busy that did not show in this sandwich it was made perfectly, layers of meat, cheese, veggies and that dressing. This was no we're busy thrown together sandwich this was a tasty masterpiece loving prepared as if we were the only order placed. Hubs loved his made up sandwich also he was beyond impressed with the amount of meat on it for a hard roll. Worth the drive from anywhere! Heck worth a flight from anywhere. Thankfully we are only a few exits away or I'd be looking for ways to earn plane ticket money just for a sandwich! We will be life...
Read moreAy, listen up—lemme tell ya about the Mama Mia from this joint.
First off, this ain’t just a sandwich—it’s a work of art, capisce? You bite into this thing, and BOOM, you’re gettin’ hit with mortadella so smooth, it’s like silk. Then you got that imported prosciutto—thin, salty, perfect. Hot capocollo? Fuhgeddaboudit. Just the right kick. And the soppressata? It’s got that deep, rich flavor that makes you wanna sit back, take a breath, and thank your Nonna for raisin’ you right.
Now, let’s talk cheese—fresh, homemade mozzarella so soft, it melts in your mouth, and then that sharp provolone comes in and slaps ya around a little. It’s the kinda balance that makes you respect the guy makin’ the sandwich. Red onions, baby arugula, and them vine-ripe plum tomatoes—fresh as can be, like they just got picked from some guy’s garden in Sicily. And then there’s the house dressing… I dunno what they put in there, but it ties the whole thing together like a perfect crew.
Listen, you take a bite of this sandwich, and it’s “Mama Mia!” for real. You don’t just taste it—you feel it. This ain’t some slap-together cold cut nonsense. This is tradition, passion, respect on a roll.
Would I eat it again? What kinda question is that? I’d eat this every day if my doc didn’t tell me to watch my cholesterol....
Read moreMy sister and I kept seeing great reviews on our local Facebook page and couldn’t wait to try Angelina’s, and it didn’t disappoint! I asked about the type of prosciutto they used and the owner, who couldn’t have been any nicer, was quick to offer a slice to try and it was delicious! We shared the Mama Mia hero and it was fantastic! The hero roll was fresh and loaded with sesame seeds, so we were in heaven. They also offer everything on a hard roll if you don’t like or can’t have sesame seeds! The case was full of delicious looking hot food too and I can’t wait to go back and get more stuff and eventually try every sandwich. I’m confident Angelina’s will be around for a very...
