Fusion 25 — Restaurant in Newtown

Somehow my review got erased after the first time. So I have to rewrite it.

Thus I went from 2 stars to 1 star now.

Short part first: Seated promptly in an loud bar. People seated next to us instead of spacing them out The food appetizers and main course all came out within 1 minute of each other The sesame chicken and general tso chicken tasted exactly the same Waitress was no where to be found from after order was taken till we were half done with meals

Details: The chicken dishes for Both were apparantly cooked in the same sauce but apparently the sesame chicken is more expensive because of the seeds on it. Everything was burning hot. Not warm but burnt our mouths so appetizers came out we couldn't even eat them and the main course came out and we had to wait for everything to cool so we ate main courses first and then that time appetizers were cold The chicken was burnt and rubbery and I wanted to complain but the waitress was no where to be found so I ate my white rice, the only edible thing served and then paid and left.

Find somewhere else to eat

Also after closely looking at the sushi selection I would in my strong opinion steer clear of it. I am an avid sushi eater and eat a lot of sushi but the selection and condition did not...

The food was decent/good. Unfortunately that’s the only positive thing I can say about our experience last night. The service was terrible, the chef clearly didn’t even want to be there, and the scheduling / seating organization was terrible. We were in our seats an hour and twenty minutes before we even saw an appetizer. Sat down at 7:00. There was already a party at our table that was taking up 1 and 1/2 of the 2 hibachi tables. The waiters took their order and got there drinks. They eventually took our drink order. Then the chef came out and the waiter said that the chef was only cooking for the 1 and 1/2 table and then someone would cook for us when he was done. So we sat there for a full hour without any food but did get to watch their chef put on a good show. After the hour was up (and we were starving) a chef came out for us. He clearly didn’t care about being there and rushed through everything faster than I have ever seen. When we finally got our main dishes and started to eat the cleaning crew decided that would be a good time to clean up the rest of the table from the previous party. So we couldn’t even eat in peace. You would have thought that at least they would have noticed that none of us had any drinks but we had to keep...

After hearing many positive things about Fusion 25 we decided to try it last night for the first time. The first impressions entering the place was a positive one since it always looked so dark inside whenever we drove by but it turned out to a lot more cheerful & more pleasant than what I was expecting, the seating was comfortable, the service was ok but not super friendly, the food however was not great, the Orange Beef was made in chunks of meat instead of thinly sliced beef which we were expecting, even though not really authentic but quite tasty, the other dishes were really disappointing, the sushi dish was just ordinary and lacked presentation, the beef fusion Basil dish was covered in scallions and lack of taste and very little basil and I really don’t know why they even call it...
