My husband went to Dunkin Donuts to pick out a birthday cake for me. He gets there, goes to.open the freezer to pick one. They are padlocked shut! Has to have someone open them for him. He picks put one (mint chocolate chip) pays for it..($23 and some change) walks out the door. Realizes it's not what it says it is. It's oreo. No mint what so ever. Brings it back in. Informs the helpful cashier, he says grab a different one out. My husband calls me to ask which one. I tell him. He then is confronted by the "manager" who informs him no refunds or exchanges. My husband literally walked out the door and walked back in. AFTER a heated discussion the manager then pulled $22 and some change out of the tip jar and gave it to my husband. Horrible customer service from the management and they are stealing from their own employees. And actually from their customers shorting us a $1 (not that's it's anything but it's the point). While waiting for my order, he asked how I was doing and probably too honestly, I said I was going to my last day of work at my current job, and I was kind of bummed. He asked why, and what work I do, and then asked what my favorite dount was - then gave me one to try and cheer me up. I was very thankful for his thoughtfulness and kindness, yes I almost cried over a donut lol. It has been a hard, stressful week and it made it just a little bit better.
I have always had stellar service here, the food has always been hot and fresh, and all of the employees have been nice and polite with me every time I visit. These are all reasons I keep coming back to this location, and will continue to come back. Thank you all for treating people...
Read moreWent this morning to treat myself. I order a medium caramel latte and a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. As I was starting to drive away the barista came out and said sorry ma'am I think I gave you the wrong drink. We switched drinks and I'm sure she served my drink to the person behind me, which is against good food protocol. I then drove away and went to eat my sandwich, reached in and put my finger into donuts. They gave me 3 donuts. I drove back to the store and she acted completely confused. I got my sandwich and I'm not sure what was goin on with the egg, it was complete mush. Needless to say, wasted a huge chunk of my morning with nothing to show for it. Every time I give this place a shot they ruin it. Highest recommendation is go to Roseland, Niles...
