Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Nixa

This will be the last time I visit the sonic in Nixa. Just as most other restaurants in Nixa, service, choice, and quality is just lacking. I said I wouldn't come back after my last visit, but some time went by and I thought I'll give them one last try. Low and behold once again, my order was wrong. After getting home, I found out my wife's tea tasted old and like there was a hint of bleach in it. Not kidding. The main part, I ordered a # 2 (double), and got what appeared to be a Jr. Cheeseburger, but paid for a Supersonic double, same as my previous experience. Also, the fries were cold and tasted like they had been dropped in grease twice. I hate leaving bad reviews bc you know these seem like first world problems, but I grow weary with half a** service especially when I was the only other car in the drive through. I work hard for my money. The nickle and diming with the constant mess ups from lack of attention these days adds up. I find it redidulous I am constantly experiencing these simple fix issues. We stopped going to this location over a year ago knowing they were having issues with staffing. Over the last several months including tonight we went back hoping for improvement. We can never get a complete and correct order. So incredibly frustrating as this location is the closest for us. Tonight the gal taking our order interrupted several times and still got the order wrong. My husband corrected her several times but gave up and decided mustard on his burger just wasn’t worth the hassle. They finally brought out our food but there were 4 drinks and we ordered two. My husband let her know that was not our order. With attitude she left. After several more minutes went by we buzzed back letting them know we hadn’t got our food yet. She brought out the same order. We told her we assumed it was not ours due to what was on the tray. She said it was in fact ours. I tasted my drink because it did not appear to be iced tea. It in fact was not so he gave it back. There was a large woman doing the drive thru. I was the only car in the drive thru around 215 all I ordered was a I-44 drink and I waited as I would when there are 2 cars in front of me finally the woman slides the door open it's 4 dollar and 7 cents I give her a 10 and 7 cents I see my drink sitting on the counter this woman has my money and drink and is taking a big order on her headset plus talking to another employee she acts like she can't get in the register when she has already rung me up she asks if I mind ones I say only if you must. That means no! She takes her tip ones out of her pocket finally handscmy drink, and the receipt covering the ones and sees me starting to look for the change she tells me it's under the receipt and in all my years of going to your store that's the first time my money (change ) was given in a hidden manor I figured it out at my next stop she only gave me 5 dollars in ones instead of 6 and when she put my 10 in the register there is her dollar tip!
